I came to Dr. Kaufman to remove skin left after loosing 100 lbs. Dr. Kaufman performed a breast augmentation and lift, circumferential tummy tuck with liposuction and a thigh lift. Dr. Kaufman worked with me in giving me what I wanted. He had the patience to answer all of my questions before and after surgery. His staff was always helpful and willing to help me get acces to speak to him. Dr. Kaufman has made me a whole new woman today. I am a 32 year old good looking woman today. I turn heads when I walk down the street and I can actually wear a bikini with confidence!!! He has also renewed my marriege. My husband feels like he has the woman he met 12 years ago. I have received a lot of compliments on his work. My procedures were split in two surgeries. First my breast and tummy tuck and a year later my thigh lift. And I can tell you that if I was not happy with the first surgeries, I would have never gone back for the second.

I approached Dr. Kaufman after thoroughly vetting him through my contacts in the Medical Device Industry. He was the most highly rated plastic surgeon for post-weight loss I could find. Dr. Kaufman listened to my "wish list" and then responded with a surgical plan for optimizing my results. He was professional, realistic and highly empathetic. The results exceeded my hope. After the first surgery (circumfrential torsoplasty) , I went into a serious depression after seeing what the post-surgical swelling had done to my "figure". Dr. Kaufman and his staff worked diligently to reassure me (and ultimately proved to be correct) and get me out of pain so I could rest. Dr. Kaufman even managed to remove scars remaining from my childbearing and two gastric surgeries. After the three procedures we agreed upon, I am nothing short of delighted with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Kaufman to anyone seeking to refine their figure. It also important to note the outstanding care Dr. Kaufman's staff provides. At all stages of my three surgeries, his staff were compassionate and supportive from the office vists through the the pre-operative anxiety I experienced and all through the post-opertive care. The team as a whole was the finest I have ever dealt with and are to be commended for their efforts.

I am not a patient of Dr. Kaufman's but I would send my mother to him. I trained under Dr. Kaufman as a resident at Stanford for three years and would wholeheartedly recommend him to any one who is interested in any type of plastic surgery. He is not only one of the most intelligent people I have ever met but he is also a technically excellent and compassionate surgeon. Through the years that I have worked for him, I have repeatedly had patients come up to me to tell me what a great surgeon he is. We will surely miss him when he leaves Stanford!
