Dr Bitar is very candid about likely results. He does a good job of helping to set realistic expectations and educating patients about the risks and the recovery process. He emphasizes good nutrition and carefully monitors his post surgery patients.

Dr Bitar's staff refer to him as a "mother hen". His staff is knowledgeable, professional,supportive and friendly. Both he and his staff encouraged me to voice my concerns and ask questions, so I went into my surgery feeling confident about the outcome and thus my recovery actually began before the surgery happened.

I am so impressed with Dr. Bitar and his staff. He has helped not only me but my daughter as well. I have worked with him for over three years and there is not a time I see him that he isn't informative and welcoming. As I said, he helped my daughter try to make a tough decision at the age of 18 by spending 45 minutes with her explaining how she needed to go about go about making this decision. By the way, he did not charge her. I can say I have only met two or three doctors who are as good and considerate as Dr. Bitar. I had a face lift after losing 134 pounds. I look so much better. My face aged about fifteen years after the bypass. I have been told that was the best surgery I could have had. I would recommend a face lift to anyone who really thinks they need it and also make sure you choose Dr. Bitar.

Dr. Bitar and his staff are amazing! I felt comfortable with them from day one. I went to them for an inverted T abdominoplasty, breast lift, and augmentation. He even called me when he found out I was having RNY complications (hernia repair.) I would recommend him to anyone!! I can't wait to go back for my next round :-)

I’m one of those patients Doctors run from. I never do anything without way too much research and angst. Dr. Bitar was one of several surgeons I met with. When I left the office, I knew that I’d found the right one but went ahead and met with the other two I was scheduled to meet. After WLS June 2004, I lost 168 pounds in 10 months and started searching for the right Plastic Surgeon. After 3 years of looking and pondering, I consulted with Dr. Bitar and his staff. They were wonderful from the first initial phone call, to my numerous follow-up questions. I’m three weeks out from an inverted T extended abdominoplasty with vental hernia repair and medial thigh lifts. I’m already able to look past the swelling and am quite pleased with my results. I can’t wait to finish healing so I can continue onto the other procedures I’ve been wanting.

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2002. I went to Dr. Bitar in Jan. 2003. He was recommended by Dr. Anez. Dr. Bitar spent over an hour explaining the different types of plastic surgery. He told me to get a second opinion. I didn’t need to do that since I had decided he would do my surgery. I had a hernia in my stomach. I decided to have a tummy tuck at the same time. He also did an arm lift and a breast lift. Dr. Bitar explained in detail all that would happen in surgery and recovery. He is a kind man who cares about each individual patient. He made me feel comfortable and has a true understanding of the needs of his patients.
Dr. Bitar treats you as if you are his only patient. His office staff is wonderful. They are also very knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the results of my surgeries. I plan on returning to his office to get implants.
I know this is a scary decision to make. You will not be sorry if you go and see Dr. Bitar. He is wonderful!

Dr. Bitar is an excellent surgeon. He explained in detail all that would happen in surgery and recovery. He is such a kind man who seems to really care about each individual patient. He made me feel comfortable and has a true understanding of the needs of the gastric by pass patient. I had an extended tummy tuck and arms lift. He did an amazing job and the scars were perfect. They also are fading quickly. I am very happy I chose Dr. Bitar and would highly recommend him.

I had an extended tt with anchor incision, bl, and liposuction with Dr. Bitar in July, 2007. I am 2 1/2 years post-op gastric bypass. Dr. Bitar did a thorough job explaining my options for surgery and developing a plan for my reconstruction after weight loss. I wasn't comfortable having the LBL at one time or deciding before a breast lift whether or not I would need implants. Dr. Bitar listened to my goals and concerns, and did such an outstanding job with this surgery, that I'm not sure I'll need any additional work. His office staff is great, especially Pat, and they are very thorough with both pre-op and post-op care. It can be intimidating for a weight loss patient to see a plastic surgeon, and while Dr. Bitar and his staff see many patients for cosmetic work, they are very sensitive to the reconstructive needs of weight loss patients.

Dr. Bitar and his staff are fabulous. After losing 150 pounds I went to Dr. Bitar to help in removing the extra skin. I had my upper arms and breast lifted in my first surgery. My second surgery involved a thigh lift and abdominalplasty. Dr. Bitar was very thorough in explaining what would be involved. The after care was wonderful, including phone calls to see how I was, flowers, and taking my calls when I was worried. I would highly recommend Dr. Bitar and his staff to anyone considering surgery. In fact, I already do.

I had a Neck Lift and Arm Lift with Dr. Bitar in December 2005. Although I'm still healing and patiently awaiting the final results; I'm extremely impressed and happy with Dr. Bitar's work!

The Neck Lift has made me feel like a brand new person... I actually have a neck now!! Before the Gastric Bypass, I had a lot of weight in my neck and after the weight loss I was left with a lot of sagging skin. The kind that would flap in the wind or even a slight breeze!! I won't lie, this surgery has a pretty painful recovery for the first couple of weeks, but Dr. Bitar was very attentive in my pain management and sensitive to the fact that I had Gastric Bypass and would require liquid pain meds to ensure quick absorbtion. Despite the pain, the surgery was well worth it and I would do it all over again. I feel like I look like I did in high school (if not even better) and that was 19 years ago!! I just can't express how happy I am that I had this procedure done!

I also had an Arm Lift on both arms and the difference is amazing! There was so little pain with this procedure I had to keep reminding myself that I had something done and needed to take it easy for a while! Though my scars are still healing, I'm enjoying getting to wear sleeveless shirts, something I haven't done since I was a small child!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Bitar as a plastic surgeon... Especially for Post Gastric Bypass patients!

Dr.Bitar and his staff are very helpful and friendly, make it a much more personal journey.They really seem to care about the person not just the proceedure.
