Dr.Jawad is a nice man,who knows what he is doing. The staff were incredible I am now just 6 days post op !!! and almost back to myself, pain wise .During the past year getting ready I had gone to his office for educational sessions that told you the benefits and the risks of the surgery ,the office and Dr.Jawad was great with any questions ,and he does have a good sense of humor which is important to me.Dr.Jawad is great with the laproscopy procedure I have a total of 6 wholes in my abdomen and which one has a g-tube in it which will be in until april 14th don't get me wrong he is great the tube I hate!but I respect and understand why it is there and I am soo lucky I have not gotten sick and this is much in thanks to the g-tube that I hate! lol!ORMC the hospital I recovered overnight was great!! and Dr.Jawads nurse KELLY OMG she is one of the best nurses I have ever encountered!! If you ever have to decide surgeoons in central florida I would totally recommend Dr.Jawad!!

Dr. Jawad is highly competent, knowledgeable, and thorough. I highly recommend him as a WL surgeon.

He keeps a large staff very busy with his practice, so it's hard sometimes to feel any personal connection - but that's the inherent nature of his practice.

There's lots of paperwork and patience needed in the prep for surgery portion of the process, and I'm not sure I'd want to run his office myself, so KUDOS to his staff!

My first impression of Dr Jawad was that he was very much about his business and very professional. However, I found him to be more friendly on his rounds post-op at the hospital. His office staff is professional. The thing I like the least about Dr Jawad is that he doesn't come across as being very friendly, however, he is a surgeon. The education about the procedure risks, aftercare, etc is excellent. He and his office staff make sure that you are throughly educated on the procedure and what you need to do. Overall, I think that Dr Jawad is very skilled, educated and experienced in bariatric surgery. I would highly recommend him for a surgeon.

DR. JAWAD...I began the process of bariatric weight loss surgery back in August. I chose Dr. Jawad because he is #1 in his field. I only wanted him to be my surgeon. From the very moment of my making my first appointment till now the staff are so professional, they know their job, and do everything they can for you. Odalys is exceptional...she has helped me so much with my insurance company.
Finally today, 11-18-09 my insurance company finally approved my surgery. I am so excited to get on with my surgery and the new life that I have before me. My surgery date is 12-16-09.

I haven't had my surgery yet, it is scheduled for Tuesday, but I am very impressed with Dr. Jawad and his staff. They are all very professional, and make you feel like you are important, that they really care about you! It appears that they are very thorough and cautious, and are doing every thing they can to make this process as safe and complication-free as possible. They have really drilled into us the importance of nutrition and vitamin supplements afer the surgery, and I feel very comfortable putting myself in their hands for this surgery. I am very very pleased with my surgeon and his staff and would highly recommend them to others!rnrnSince my surgery, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jawad and his staff. They are awesome! I highly recommend them if you are considering surgery.

From start to finish (or 3 weeks out) Dr. Jawad and his staff have been supportive and helpful without a doubt. The meetings I attended pre-op at the Center along with the materials and DVD were invaluable. Every time I've had a question and had to call or email the Center I got an immediate response. I couldn't have asked for better care and I feel Dr. Jawad is the best surgeon for this procedure.
My experience with the surgery was actually uneventful. I did not feel a lot of pain right after and have had no nausea or vomiting to date (this could be rare). After awakening in the post-op room I remember sitting up and wanting to walk and see my husband. The discomfort that I experienced was a lot less than I expected and was mainly, for me, due to the heparin shots and getting used to having a tube in my side. I asked for pain med fairly regularly during my overnight stay in the hospital and then at home, only used the Codine for less than 2 weeks, less and less each day. Walking in the hospital right after surgery DID feel better so believe what they tell you. When you sit or lay down you get stiff which leads to sore. At 1 week out I was walking around my block, 2 weeks I was up to 2 miles and it was at that time that I was pretty much back to my old self. I feel terrific and look forward to my next appt. to have the G-tube removed and for a progress check. And as far as the G-tube for any newbies-its really not that bad. After a little bit you don't even know its there and its there for your health and safety. I couldn't be happier right now. Thank you Dr. Jawad & Staff!

MY 1ST IMPRESSION IF DR. JAWAD WAS HE WAS A MAN OF FEW WORDS. HE SEEMS TO BE BETTER ON A QUESTION AND ANSWER BASIS. SO HAVE QUESTIONS WHEN YOU GO TO HIM AND ASK TILL YOUR HEARTS CONTENT. rnrnTHE OFFICE STAFF WAS PERSONABLE, FRIENDLY, SUPPORTIVE AND MOST OF MY QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED BY THEM BUT I ASKED THE PHYSICIAN ANYWAY. rnrnI THINK THE ONLY THING I COULD SAY NEGATIVE ABOUT DR. JAWAD IS THE COMPLAINT MY PARENTS HAD, THEY SAID HE JUST POPPED IN AFTER MY SURGERY, SAID I HAD DONE FINE AND WAS GONE. OTHER THAN THAT HE IS A GREAT PHYSICIAN AND HAS A GREAT PROGRAM. rnrnIM ONE WEEK OUT OF SURGERY AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I HEAR HE HAS MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS, WHICH I CANT WAIT TO GO TO ONE OF THEM. I WOULD RATE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE A SOLID 8.

My first impression of him (Dr. Jawad) was really great. My husband and I loved the fact he really knew what he was doing and very nice.rnWell its been 12 days so i still feel the same.rnThe Office Staff is so great and could not ask for a better staff. Loved them. They got everything u needed and helped if needed.rnFuture patients' should know that you will have an entire staff working for you and with you. Also, the Doctor is really great. He will also be there if you have any questions. Very Supportive in all ways.rnThe only thing i hate is the feeding tube for 6 weeks, but i know they do what is best for us.rnThe risks of surgery and everything after is very much addressed, you will sign a lot of consent paperwork and also get tons of paperwork in writing saying the risks, aftercare, and so on. You will also get a DVD and be in an educational group where the staff speaks tell you everything and what to expect. You are very much informed on paper and talking. The Aftercare is great you will be well taken care of they make sure of it lol. I would rate over 100 percent. Everything was great from the doctor office to hospital.. You have to have the strengh to go through this kind of surgery.rnThanks:)
