He is a very nice man. He is a highly skilled surgeon that addresses his patient's needs and concerns.
Dr Ihde answered all of my questions and concerns and went over the procedure in detail.

I would highly recommend him to everyone. My husband was so impressed, he wanted Dr. Ihde to perform his surgery as well.

Hello everyone. I had my surgery on the 26th of Feb as planned and everyhting went great. I had it 5 weeks ago and I have lost 30lbs already. I feel pretty good. The eating is harder than I thought. You are never hungry. the 64 oz of liquid a day is kind of hard also, I know all of it will be worth it. Everyone was so nice to me. my nurses were great, Lora, Teresa, Donna and Jeff not to mention Jennifer and Barbra in pre-opt. Of course thanks to Dr Ihde as well for doing such a great job and not letting me get a way with anything. Rose mary was a great aid as well. I hope I did not leave any one out. everyone was great..

my first impression of dr. ihde was he made me feel really comfortable.my impression has not changed i think he is the greatest. he has the best staff you could ask for they are always great.i loved every thing about him and the staff they are awsome.
he and the staff take really good care of you while you are there and when you go home they call and see how you are feeling.he will tell all about the risk at your first visit.both are great.i was always comfortable while in their care.

DR.IHDE APPEARED LAID BACK & EASY GOING & VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS FEILD. AFTER MAKING MY DECISION TO HAVE WLS, I STILL HAVEN'T CHANGED MY IMPRESSION OF HIM. EVERYONE IN HIS OFFICE IS VERY FRIENDLY & WILLING TO HELP ANYWAY THEY CAN. HE HIGHLY STRESSES AFTERCARE, WALKING ESP. THE AFTERCARE IS STRUCTURED. HE WAS UP FRONT ABOUT THE RISKS OF SURGERY. OVERALL I WOULD RATE HIM ON A SCALE OF 1-10, A 10. BOTH HIS SURGICAL COMPETENCE & BEDSIDE MANNER ARE GREAT.

Very businesslike. Only met him once. Office seemed very busy. Nice accomodations.

My surgeon will be Dr. Ihde from BTC in Wylie. He was very open and friendly. He was thorough in covering the negatives. He is also easy on the eyes! I had originally been set up to see Dr Leverton as I like to encourage and support women in professional fields of all kinds. I read other postings on this site and learned my surgeon, Dr. Ihde, has a background in emergency room and/or trauma treatment, which I find comforting.

My first impression of Dr. Ihde was that he was all business and not much personality. Once I got to the hospital and had my surgery I realized my first impression was incorrect. He's very professional and friendly. He's definatley good at what he does. He's very easy goin'. His office staff has been very helpful and the nurses at BTC were exceptional. Pam, Jeff and Donna were especially helpful and good at their jobs. Dr. Ihde really stresses exercise after surgery. Especially walking (which I didn't do alot of.) :o(

Overall I'm extreemly pleased with the surgery, Dr. Ihde and his entire staff.

The first time I'd ever spoken with Dr Idhe, I challenged him as much as I could. I mean as a nurse, I knew the right questions to ask. Believe me, he had plenty of answers. He made me feel very comfortable with this man. The office staff and the hospital staff were very caring.
I did not have any dislikes for BTC/staff. I have recommeded two patients. The BTC really does have an excellent aftercare program. Believe me, I know from first hand experience. Had they not provided me with such indepth nutrional counseling, my weight loss would not have been nearly as successful.
Overall, if I had to do it all over again, Dr Idhe and BTC would most definitely be my choice.

I WENT TO SEE DR. IDHLE AT THE BARIATRIC CENTER IN WYLIE TEXAS. THEY WERE VERY KIND AND VERY INTERESTED IN EXPLAINING TO ME ABOUT THE SURGERY. PROS AND CONS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS MOST PLEASANT. CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR FROM MY INSURANCE CO.

I really was impressed with the staff
at BTC...Doctor Ihde was very professional
and has continued to be throughout my
journey. I was prepared and educated on
the procedure prior to meeting with Doctor
Ihde, so this made our visit so much easier!
Doctor Ihde has been blessed with the
knowledge and experience in how to perform
this unbelievable, life changing surgery and
I would recommend him for anyone who is
considering having this done! He has blessed
me with something that is so wonderful!
He is very straight up with telling you what
to expect and how this is going to change
your life. I believe he is one of the best
surgeons that I could have chosen. I would
just advise you to get as much information
about this procedure and be prepared prior
to going in to the clinic to see him. I feel
that if you are prepared and know what to
expect, he will acknowledge you as being
"serious" and not make you go through any
unecessary "tests." He is a serious, straight-forward doctor who needs to see you as being serious...not wishy-washy, or as
this to be a "Quick-Fix".........
