United Hospital Bariatric Center Hospital
I was very impressed to find out that United Hospital's Dept of Visitor & Family Services offers the Lipschultz Center guest apartments for patients and family if you should need overnight accomodations on the hospital campus. Very reasonable priced. Ours was $45 per night, right across the street from the hospital. I found my care at United Hospital varied greatly from one shift of staff to another. Some of the staff members & nurses were 1000% excellent in all ways, while some of the others were very poor. Bathing/showering of patients did not seem to be taken care of with any routine, and in fact I only got two showers and no sponge baths for the full 5 days I was there. That was by far my biggest complaint. Also the noise level was terrible expecially at shift change time. Sounded like a party going on much of the time. It's nice they enjoy themselves while at work, just wish it was enjoyed a bit quieter. Had to keep my door closed most of the time to block noice level.
