UCLA Medical Center Hospital

I was very pleased with UCLA they took good care of me.

I thought the hospital was good overall. They did have me share a room with an individual on a regular diet, which made it difficult when you are not able to eat. The nurses were very knowledgeable on bariatric surgery and care, so I felt comfortable discussing how I was feeling , etc with them. They were very sensitive to the needs of the overweight.

Nursing staff was great I was definetly well cared for.

I am also a nurse at UCLA, So I think the nurses were extra nice to me. I know the system so I was not afraid to use the resouces and ask questions. They were very attentive to me. I loved my stay.

It was ok, the staff was nice. It was just old. Little things like the fact that there were no showers in the rooms, you had to use a "floor" shower.

I think the hospital was well equiped and the staff was very nice. Even the student nurses was very careing. But I also think they may be under staffed at night. There may have been 2 nurses for the whole unit. Also, I am a very light sleeper and my roommates both were a little louder than I liked. 1 had an electric blanket that was loud and the other just keep moening all night. But I guess thats what you expect when you don't pay the extra cost to have a private room. Other wise everything was fine.

Open and roomy rooms, very nice staff, no complaints or problems at all.

The care was exellent and everyone was caring and pleasant- from the doctors and nurses, right down to the people who empty the trash! It must be a nice place to work because it shows in their happy employees. Kudos to UCLA!

The hospital it self was OK-my post-op room was way too small. and my roommate was in a diaper-pooing and stanking-other than that the nursing staff was cool

Pay extra to stay on the 9th or 10th floors. It is well worth it. The care is excellent.
