Tucson Medical Center Hospital
When I first met Dr. Weiner, I was at the end of my rope (so to speak). I had been having MANY problems with my previous weight loss surgery, a JeJunal Ileal Bypass. When I first met him at the office and he walked into the room, he listened very patiently to my whole (long) story. He did not try to hurry me through the appointment but truly "listened" to me. I got the feeling that he was going to do his very best to make me feel better.
My husband who works in the health care field was able to help me do some research on Dr. Weiner, all the comments that we got back very positive regarding his surgical talent and his meticulous attention to detail in his surgical technique.
Before and after my surgery he has always been very kind, extremely knowledgeable and thorough, a true professional in every sense of the word. He is very open, honest, and shows a true concern for the welfare of his patients in everything he does.
I told him at my two year check up that I felt he had given me back my life. I went from a person that was so ill every night I could not play with my young son. To a person that has endless energy for bike rides, baseball and so much more....
Dr. Weiner was awesome. The staff told me he was a perfectionist, and he is. I loved his bedside manner and he never made me feel rushed. Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. He also does fills for patients that may have had the surgery outside of the country, something to consider if you are near Detroit. He's cheaper than anybody else that does fills, and he's a fantastic doctor. Another thing I love....when I call to get a fill appointment, they are SO nice and I get RIGHT in, within the week. I've even made appointments on Thursday afternoon for a fill the following Monday. He is completely understanding of the need for proper restriction for weight loss and never jacks me around on fills. He listens to me when I talk, and answers my questions. I never feel like he's in a hurry or rushing.
