I just finished with all the pre-op testing. I am very happy with the way the testing went. All of the nurses and lab assisants were very nice and helpful.

*update*
I just got back from Theda Clark, and I am very, very pleased with the hospital! The 'accomodations' were much more than I had hoped for. I had a large, private room with nice comfortable chairs for me and guests. I also had closets and drawers for my things. There is understanding at this hospital for the needs of larger patients. They had extra large chairs, wheel chairs and beds. The diet I was given was specific to what the doctors' wanted.

The nurses were absolutely wonderful! They were very attentive to my needs, and very helpful to me when I was in pain or frustrated. When I expressed consern about the pain meds I was on, they were able to get it changed for me. The nurses were also well aware of the do's and don'ts of bariatric surgery.

I really liked the nurses assistants, they were so helpful! I had no problem being tended to and they were always right by my side, within a minute or two when I needed something. This hospital is very clean and well maintained. They have a very good crew of nurses, techs and assistants!
