Surgical Weight Loss at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital
The special bariactric bed was down-right painfull to lay in. A friend who was there later made the same conplaints about the bed - somehow it puts too much pressure on the left buttock.
Being in ICU was where the lack of rest came in - 2 of the other patients in ICU were noisy all night, one groaning loudly in pain for hours, the other repeatedly trying to escape restraints.
I met Dr. Leport for the first time on 4-8-03. He seemed very pleasant, busy and quick. I was unprepared with my questions, but I really don't have any questions. I forgot to ask about aftercare, for the incision, but again, I was unprepared. I am looking forward to him doing my surgery, as I feel most comfortable with him and his record, and my friends dad had him.
you felt more comfortable with some nurses then others.most of them were great and they would come by and check on you.then there were others you would only see one time during there shift.you had to get up and walk mostly on you own.i just wanted to get better and go home so i didnt ask for much help getting up out of bed to walk.there was one cna named Lisa who i liked and she did her best.you could tell she took her job to heart.i was well takin care of at the hospital and would have my first born at Fountain Valley!!
He was very busy, and late for a meeting so my meeting with him was very brief. He seemed very nice. I will keep you posted as I learn more. His office staff is very busy all the time. They are nice but brisk. I think competence & bedside manner are important. I will write more after I have more comtact with him.
