It was clean and well staffed. I received excellent care while I was admitted there.

The Nurse staff in the surgical unit were very professional and helpful. Especially, Janelle, Dina, Patty & Lana!!!

Nurses were very caring! Felt that they really cared about you, and were very concerned about your well-being and comfort.

The one thing they didn't do was get me up and moving right away. I am having pretty bad back pain from trapped gases. They DID however offer me pain medication often and bring it right away. They answered their call lights quickly, and most of the staff was very very caring.

The staff was a mix of personalities,most were very outgoing and kind, others straight to the point.

I was nervous about this hospital based on past reviews and the fact that it is located in a really crappy part of town. To my surprise, it was wonderful. The staff was great, the room was huge and private, the floor I was on was quiet and peaceful. Not one problem.

Other OH members had posted that they were worried about their stay at POH. I found that the hospital functioned well and treated me with respect and care. My roommate made my experience much worse - had it been a different person I probably wouldn't have anything bad to say.

I think that this hospital gets poor publicity sometimes, but my stay was great, the staff was attentive and I felt very comfortable there. Make sure you get your parking stub validated!!

The intake Nurses before surgery were absolutely exceptional. The Nurses post op were mostly good as well, not as responsive or complete as the intake nurses.

The room I had was directly across from the nurses station and the night was just unbelievably loud. There was no regard for the patients who had just had surgery and were trying to get a nights sleep. So bad I requested leaving after only 1 night, when I would have stayed 2 if it weren't as bad.
I have no suggestions to make this better.
