I am researching Dr Keith to see if he takes my insurance and I am planning to go with him if everthing goes as planned.

My surgery was on April 10 by Dr. Keith. I've had much success. His office is superb, and I am confident that I'm in the best of care. This program is so well structured and laid out. Their support program is wonderful. I would recommend this surgeon and this office to anyone.
This hospital is fantastic. Their bariatric program is one of four in the country to receive JCAHO's highest accreditation!

*My PCP highly recommended Dr. Keith so that gave him a gold star before I met him. My first impression of Dr. Keith (at his seminar) was that he was knowledgeable, intelligent and down to earth.
*My impression did not change about him.
*His staff is excellent, they are always there when I need them.
*I think Dr. Keith is a phenomenal surgeon, but he really doesn't spend much time with you. I saw him at the seminar, my initial consult, during surgery (of course, I don't remember that) and when he released me from the hospital. His staff does the rest.
*Future patients should know that Dr. Keith and his office are extremely busy. They have a ton of patients and will get to you. This is a good thing. It means that Dr. Keith is successful! No matter how many patients they have, when your journey begins, they will treat you like an individual and NOT like cattle (as is the case in other dr. offices).
*Dr. Keith's aftercare program is top notch!
*His aftercare program is structured with follow-up appts. There is also a support group that meets twice per month.
*Dr. Keith discusses the risks of surgery in detail in his seminar.
*Overall, I would rate Dr. Keith, his staff, the hospital, his pre-op program and aftercare progam as FANTASTIC! I recommend him without reservation!
*Surgical competence or bedside manner? Well, of course, both are great...but I would have to say that surgical competence far outweights bedside manner.

I had my RNY,surgery with Dr Keith Nov 29, 2004. I lost 178bls.I was 363bls now am 185 and feel great. Not only is he a excellent surgeon, his bariatric educational program and suport groups are one of the best in the nation.
Dr Keith is the best. I really understands what you are going through. He should he had the surgury himself.
The staff is great and very supportive. I have had to call several times with questions and they all ways help.
Ronnie Keith is an awsome surgeron, I was a little skeptical at first and then after I met everyone at his office I started to feel a little more at ease. I would definately recommend him to my friends.
