Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital
It seemed that things were a bit against me enjoying a quiet stay. I happened to get the roommate from H*ll. If she did not have someone visiting her, talking to her she was moaning in extreme pain which magically was gone when she got attention. I made the mistake of not asking to be moved so I suffered along with her for the 2 days I was there. I had to wait outside of the room to be released or I was afraid of what I might have done to this woman. She kept a recliner on her side of the door and made a stink when I had to have it moved so I could use the restroom. She kept telling me it was her chair and not to move it. Oh, give me strength.
This was my fault for not speaking up which the nurses told me at the end I should of done. So no blame to Kaiser on this one.
However, I waited 3 hours to be discharged because no one could find a bariatric wheelchair to take me downstairs. I hope this will not happen to anyone else. The fun part was the nurse finally deciding it was time for me to leave and loaded me up on my roommates chair to be rolled out. I can still hear her whining, "that's my chair, where are you taking my chair?" LOL
