Dr. Baggs was great. He is a wonderful surgeon and very professional. I was lucky to have him as my surgeon.

I met Dr. Park for the first time today. I have to say, I really like her. She was very thorough with her explanation of the procedure, she answered all my questions and those of my husband. She was happy with my weight loss thus far (7 lbs) and gave me what I felt to be a fair Pre surgery weight loss goal (10 more lbs). Dr. Park gave off good vibes and made me feel completely at ease with my decisions, the procedure and the care I will be receviing at Richmond Kaiser.

I am only Pre-Op. So far, I feel the Bariatric Division of Kaiser is doing a great job. They have an online "Group" which is very helpful.

I'll be having surgery at Kaiser Richmond, in Northern California.

Dr. Baggs was just awesome. He is easy to talk with and very good at what he does. I am so happy that he is my surgeon. He spent time with my husband while I was in recovery showing him the pictures of my surgery...he didn't have to take the time to do that, but it sure was a thoughtful thing to do.

My only complaint is the noise level. It is a busy place and I am not sure anything could be done about that. I was happy I had to stay just one night.

What can I say about Dr. Baggs?? He is a wounderful man who made my experience the best that it could be. He made me understand in clear fashion the risks assocated with wls and made sure that I understood everything fully. rnrnOn the day of surgery and the few days after, he was just the best. He was kind, courteous and wend out of his way to make sure that I had everything that I needed and that I was as comfortable as possible and if I had any questions.rnrnI would recomend him to anyone needing a surgeon in the Kaiser system

Dr. Im is very confident, and capable. He if very nice, but doesnt spend a lot of time with me. Most of my questions are fielded by the Dietitian, or by the Bariatrics Staff, but even so, Dr. Im does answer my questions when I want to ask him personally, and is very knowledgable and reassuring. He is also very encouraging of my weight-loss experience, even though I think Im moving slowly, he says Im doing great.

My experience was 100% positive in all areas except noise. The noise was unbelievable as I was near the RN station. I heard talking 24/7. There is no regard for the fact that sick people are trying to rest. But as for the staff, they are all excellent and so caring. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this program to anyone.
