I was just assigned to Dr. Christine Chu, via Kaiser. So far, I'm very impressed with her! She seems very knowledgable and caring. She was extreamly easy to talk to, and she was very real. She reviewed the surgery, the risks, and life after sugery in detail with me.

He was very picky but very careful, concerned and I am glad that he was my surgeon. He really cares about his patients and is not going to do something that he thinks will harm you--the reason for his pickyness. After surgery, I was very , very happy that he was like that--it went well, I healed quickly and I am doing great four months later--still no problems. I highly recommend him.

I wouldn't hesitate to plan all future surgeries at this facility!!!!

Dr. Dennen is great! He is very professional, yet friendly, and has a great sense of humor. You can tell he cares, and he believes in what he is doing. He is head of the bariatric dept. and I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon. I honestly can say that I trust him with my life. If it were not for him, my cancer would not have been found as early as it was....he literally saved my life! He knows his stuff, and he lets you know he does, yet not in an arrogant way. He's an all around great guy, very patient oriented.

Dr Eric Hahn is an amazing doctor he trully knows what he is doing. He is very caring, compassionate, and understanding. He is like that buddy that always hangs around when you most need him. What else can i say? He is just amazing, outstanding doctor. I trully recomend him for anybody who is looking for a good doctor. I remember him visiting me at night at my room in the hospital when i new he spent all that day and night in the hospital. Tired but even tired he wanted to see and ask me how i was doing. Great doctor. From 1 to 10 he is a 11.

I couldn't have picked a better surgeon than Dr. Dutta. Not only did I totally trust him but he is a very upbeat person who makes his patients feel very positive about everything. I had some out of the ordinary issues and he made me know that he would do whatever he could to help me. He gets an \"A\" in my book.

I am so happy with Dr. Dennen. He was forthright, honest and compassionate from the first I met him at the orientation at Kaiser Fremont. His staff is pretty nice too. When I was having issues with vomiting, not only did he take our call, he called me personally to follow up with my condition the following day. His care is beyond surgically competent, and his beside manner is just the best. He is comforting as well confidence inspiring.

Dr. Dutta is a great surgeon! I had zero complications, and a failry easy recovery. He also took out my gall bladder at the same time. I had the Lap RNY.

My husband and I were both very impressed with Dr Dutta from the very beginning, that has not changed at all. He is very kind, considerate and makes sure to take the time to answer any and all of your questions. After surgery he called to check up on me when I was at home. Prior to surgery when I would email him questions he would get back to me in a timely manner. There was some questions about if my esophagus working properly so I had to do additional testing prior to him deciding if I could still have the surgery. He let me know where to look up on the website to find out what it all was about. He is very serious about what he does and the people he is helping. Aftercare, support groups and exercise are allt hings that he emphasizes every time I have seen him. We were informed of all the risks the different surgeries I had could entail, he didn't sugar coat anything. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. My family was more nervous about this then I was because I had done research for almost 2 years before deciding on this journey. After one visit to him my husband was completely at ease with him and felt like his questions were just as important to Dr Dutta as mine were. He doesn't make you feel rushed or like any question is a dumb one to ask. I think surgical competence is more important then bedside manner. Dr Dutta has both as does Dr Hahn who assisted with my surgery and saw me as well when I was in the hospital on Dr Dutta's day off. I can't say enough about Dr Dutta, Dr Hahn or Kaiser Fremont Medical Center. For all that I had done at once especially I have never felt more at ease and comfortable at a hospital. I only had a problem with one young nurse assistant becasue she was to busy paying attention to the young orderlies then in helping me like she was supposed to.

see above, only had a problem with 1 nurse assistant, a young girl who was more interested in flirting with the orderlies than in helping me , other than that it was good, I was in their for 4 days.
