I have only met with Dr Farhan 1 time so far. It was just my consultation. He seemed very interested in what I wanted to know and made sure I understood all his answers. I cant wait to see him again!

The office staff at the Hurley Bariatric Center has been great. I've had problems in the past getting insurance approval for the procedure and they were very helpful in contacting my primary care physician and assisting her in providing the required information necessary to get the surgery approved. I was so surprised when they called on July 30th and said the surgery was approved. rnrnI only met with Dr. Farhan on my initial visit and I felt very comfortable with him. I will be able to provide more feedback when I see him on my pre-surgery appt.

My first impression of Dr. Farhan is that he seems to be a quiet man, but answered all of my questions and concerns which put me at ease. The nurses and office staff are very nice at Hurley Bariatric center, they have a very good, structured pre-op and post-op plan. After your surgery is scheduled you recieve a packet with all the imformation you need, along with your nutritional class date and your pre admissions testing date. The nutritional class is very informative, you learn what to do before surgery (your diet), and what is expected post op, everything is thoroughly explained. I was completely informed of the possible complications of lapband surgery and the advantages of having the surgery. I haven't had surgery yet so I don't know his bedside manner yet but have heard nothing but possitive things so far about Dr. Farhan. I'm just very excited right now and looking forward to surgery and a new beginning.

I will always put Hurley on the top of my list of area hospitals. They helped in the birth of my children and gave me a chance at a new life after bariatric surgery.

First impression was that he was very confident in his work. rnOffice staff is very friendly and nice except for one of the dietician, who I feel \"talks down\" to me, but the other dietician I've talked to there is very nice.rnThe thing I liked least is I never seen him since I left the hospital. rn

Dr Farhan was very courtious and informative.rnHis Ofice and staff were professional and knowledgable. The surgery was flawless with barely any scaring, and no complications. Dr. Farhan came to my room every day after durgery to check on me. I was in 3 days after surgery. He also worked with me to get me back to work asap after recovery. I would rate him ona scale of 1-10 an absolute 10

Excellent staff (for the most part). Very busy, but willing to help at any time.
