So far I've had nothing but positive experiences with my surgeon. He is very optimistic and has a wonderful personality. He knows how to make you laugh and put you at ease. He knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Prashar helped save my life and my self-esteem. The first time I met him he took his time and explained to me all the options to help me lose weight and get healthy. He explained the procedures, the risks, and the possibe outcomes. I choose lap band surgery.
I recovered quickly from the surgery. My incisions are all small and I feel confident they will fade over time. Any time I called the office, he was quick to respond and address my questions.
Dr Prashar's most outstanding quality to his patients is that he really listens to us. He hears me and gives me answers that show he has heard me.
His fun sense of humor is also wonderful.

I had my first meeting with Dr. Cantor today and he's very straight forward. He's just friendly enough for you to understand that this is a doctor/patient relationship and that he's not your buddy, but friendly enough to put you at ease. I look forward to having my sleeve done by Dr. Cantor.

My doctor! Dr. McBean... is not only professional but personable. I couldn't have asked for a more caring, considerate and most of all knowledgable doctor. Thank you Dr. McBean! You are totally awesome! And I am so thankful for the work you do. My life has changed .. in so many ways, but most of all I have learned how to live again and to love myself again. I "promise" I will continue to use this tool that you have given me to keep the quality of life that I have been missing for so long. Thank you also for caring so much. My family and I were very impressed with Dr. McBean. From my first informative meeting i had in November 2009 I knew he was gonna be my surgeon. I loved his office staff, they kept me informed the 6 months that i had to do prior to my surgery (insurance required)
They have a very structured program (nutritional counseling, had to see a number of specialists before surgery would be approved. He talked to me about the risks, benefits etc. so that i was very informed about what was going to happen. When the time come for the surgery, he was very informative, went over everything again, asked me if i had any questions. On the day of surgery, he came to see me before,surgery, talked to my family and asked if the had any questions. He came to talk to them afterwards and told them what to expect, i had a bloodpressure issue which scared everyone and he consoled everyone. Within short time, it was resolved. He was very, very competent, wonderful bedside manner, checking in on me often. I was very, very impressed with him and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Prashar has a wonderful bedside manner and was very clear and concise about what to expect after surgery. I am a Registered Nurse (one of the worst patients), and he treated me with the utmost respect because of my extensive ICU background. He went over my labs and tests with me so that I knew exactly what was going on. I had terrible pain for 3 weeks after surgery and he persisted through and actually listened to me and treated my pain. Not many doctors will actually listen to you- I know because I work with them everyday. What I admired most about him is that he doesn't have the "God" complex and is very humble. He also was so complimentary to me yesterday- told me I looked great after losing 20 pounds and gave me a hug. In my opinion, he is one of the best surgeons I have ever met or had work on me.

Dr. Cantor is a wonderfull doctor and surgeon. He's strict and to the point but, I need that - extra push.

He is absolutely awesome. He is strict, but that's what I needed, someone who was going to tell the truth.

DR.Cantor is still a caring doctor and my surgery went great i wouldnt have pick another doctor i am please at what he had done for me if you are reading this DR.Cantor you are one of the realist doc and straight forward very strict and i appreciate that

I like Dr. McBean very much! he goes over everything and explains and asks questions. His office staff is very helpful, and polite. He encourages aftertcare. He went over all the risks of the surgery, and makes sure that you understand everything. I rate him very good. Both are great!
