I had two surgeries here - RNY on May 18 and then emergency surgery for strangulated hernia on May 22. Everyone was wonderful both times. The folks who prepped my food for after the hernia surgery didn't quite understand how the RNY impacted what I could have (they gave me tea and jello, both not allowed on my surgeon's first week after RNY). Other than that tho, it was perfect. Sure wish I lived closer so that this could be my regular hospital!

Had to wait about 4 hours in PACU for a room due to no room available after surgery. Informed nurse 2 times that my IV had infiltrated and after my hand was a +4 pitting edema she d/c the IV. Had a nurse that was very attentive about my second IV, after it had infiltrated also she stopped the IV and called the doctor also she mad she my Protein shake was fresh and had ice all the time.

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS HOSPITAL AND EVERYONE WHO WORKS FOR THEM. THEY TREATED ME LIKE ROYALITY AND I WOULD DO ALL OVER AGAIN THERE

Everyone was very nice, emphathetic and attentive to both my needs and my family's needs! Staff seemed to be very well trained in this area and were able to explain all of our questions/concerns.

Post Surgical I Unit is new. Nice rooms, spacious and comfortable. Dr. P even told me that I could drive my bed in the hallway-really fancy! The nursing staff was incredible and attentive. Thanks to Jenny L. Jenny, Emily, Martha, Amanda and Charisma. Forgive me if I left anyone out.

It is gorgeous. The bariatric rooms are designed very well for larger patients. The nursing staff was very nice. No bad experiences in the 2 days I was there.

So far, I have only gone there for my preop testing. Everyone has been VERY nice and supportive. They seem geniunely happy about your decision for WLS. Plus they just rave about Dr. Bauman.
