Currently we provide the following surgical options: Adjustable Gastric Banding A procedure that uses a silicone band to create a smaller section in the stomach. Digestion and absorption of nutrients remain normal and the band can be adjusted or fully removed. Sleeve Gastrectomy This procedure limits the amount of food a person can eat by reducing the size of the stomach. A portion of the stomach is removed, but digestion and absorption of nutrients remain normal. Roux en Y Gastric Bypass By reducing the stomach size and decreasing food absorption, this procedure helps to create a quicker sense of fullness.
