Atlanticare Medical Center (COE) Hospital

I liked it. They had a special unit that only deals with the bariatric surgerys and patients and in that all the care is designed around our needs.They were all so wonderful, very genuine and overall blessing. Thank you so much all of you there that helped me get through this. Bless yah all!!

No hesitation in recommending this hospital....

the nurses were excellent and never complained even though I kept setting the alarms off everytime I moved my arm. I also liked the fact that they came to the room if I buzzed them instead of hearing a disembodied voice saying can I help you?
The care was genuine and special thanks to Ron, she was wonderful and kind and I was very lucky to have her, as well as my other nurses.

The only comment is that my visitors had to pay for parking but considering the city and the fact that the garage was right across the steet from hospital very safe and secure

I pressed the nurses' button a couple of times overnight and they literally flew to my room. The staff is quite patient and very caring.

It was clean, parking was easy, the nurses were just wonderful, and had everything that a person having wls would need. I wish I could remember all the names, but Rachel my nurse was the absolute best! So was the therapy girls, the night nurse Sandy and whoever else i came in contact with there.

I was worried because I had heard that it was an old hospital and not very up to date. Well they just changed all that and my stay was without complaint.

My night nurse Beth was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The day nurse on my surgery date, Gerry, probably shouldn't be handling bariatric patients...she seemed a little "out of it". My day nurse the 2nd day, Sherry, was better, although when I asked the tech for pain meds, Sherry gave meds to the girl in the next room. By the time I got them (8 call lights and an hour later), I was literally in tears from the pain.

staff was excellent, I would definately utilize this hospital again

ACMC city division is a old structure I think. The staff looked overworked but were friendly. The radiologist in the x-ray department was the only rude person I met. Food service, house keeping, transport, nursing staff were all respectful, helpful and amiable.
