Melissa Majumdar Dietitian / Nutritionist MS, RD, LDN, CPT

Senior Bariatric Dietitian Melissa has been a dietitian since 2008 and has spent the majority of her career in the bariatric world. Before moving to Boston, she was a bariatric dietitian for Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and most recently, she worked for a bariatric vitamin company. Melissa is an Illinois native and studied Dietetics and Hospitality Management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she also ran track and cross country. She completed her dietetic internship with the Sodexo Mid-Atlantic program in Baltimore, MD, and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition with Northeastern University. Melissa also holds a certificate in Adult Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Melissa has served as the editor for the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ newsletter and is currently a reviewer for the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group’s newsletter.
