Mohan K. Mallipeddi Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Mohan K. Mallipeddi, Bariatric Surgeon Mohan Mallipeddi, MD is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques at the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Center for Weight Management in Seattle, Washington. Having earned his medical degree at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine he went on to complete an internship and his residency at Duke Health System. He is fellowship trained through both Duke Health System and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mallipeddi is a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), a fellow of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) where he is a member of Foregut Task Force Committee, member of the Seattle Surgical Society (SSS), and the North Pacific Surgical Association (NPSA). He is the recipient of important honors, awards, research grants, and fellowships including a First-Place award in Laparoscopic Skills Challenge at Duke University and has held several faculty and teaching appointments. He has been a respected presenter and has co-authored numerous publications, book chapters, and abstracts.
