Dr. Houseworth - Expert in da Vinci Robotic Surgery What is really unique about bariatric surgery is that it allows the physician to form that long-term patient/doctor relationship. I will see my patients several times before they have their operation and for years after. In bariatrics that is really special because patients go through a life-changing transformation. They may have multiple medical problems which can be cured. Whether it be diabetes, high blood pressure, hypertension or sleep apnea. It really gives them their life back. They are able to do things they have not been able to do in years. -- Dr. Troy Houseworth Dr. Houseworth specializes in minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted weight loss surgery. He is Washington’s most experienced weight loss robot-assisted surgeon having performed more robotic procedures than any other surgeon or program in the state. He performs Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG), Gastric Bypass, Duodenal Switch (DS), and complex bariatric surgery revisions. Dr. Houseworth strongly believes that support and compassion beyond the operating room are an essential part of his patients’ weight loss success.
