Timothy Duckett Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

DR. DUCKETT WAS VERY NICE, PROFESSIONAL ON THE FIRST CONSULT. HE ASKED IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LAP-BAND SURGERY. HE WAS UPFRONT ABOUT THE SURGERY AND WHAT WAS EXPECTED OF ME BEFORE AND AFTER.

My first impression of Dr. Duckett was that he was rather busy and not very patient oriented. However, since then my impression has changed. Though he is still VERY busy, he seems to genuinely care about my well being. As a surgeon, my layman’s opinion is that he is wonderful! I had almost no pain after my lapband was implanted, which I attribute to his skills as a surgeon.
Dr. Duckett’s office staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. Their complete lapband program, while a little overwhelming at first, truly prepared me for this weight loss journey and is continuing to provide support.
Overall, I would highly rate Dr. Duckett and the lapband program.

Dr. Duckett is a very nice guy..I liked him very much from day one. My impression has not changed at all. His staff have made me feel so welcomed. Each person that I have worked with through him have been great.

After care is a big thing that he wants his patients to exercise 6 days a week. There is a program set up at St. Lukes for just that.

I was the highest BMI that they had done to date. So I knew my risk was high going into surgery.

I would highly recommend him to anyone!

He is a very down to earth guy, does not make you feel like he is better then you.. like some dr. do.

Very personable and caring. My surgery was actually done by both Drs. Duckett and Oweis. I have total faith in their skills.

When I first met Drs. Duckett and Oweis, they had only banded two other people. I was to be there third patient. In the meantime, my insurance company fight took so long that I became their 140th band patient.

Both doctors care about their patients. I found both of them to be very personable and having a good bedside manner. I completely trust their skills as surgeons.

Dr. Timothy Duckett did my lapband surgery on Jan. 8th 2003. he is wonderful! I have no complaints. he was always friendly and took time with me and my husband and always asked if we had questions. he has a wonderful bedside manner and also seems really interested in the lapband procedure. I was his 6th lapband patient and never had any doubts about his ability. I would highly recommend him!
