Not only did I require a revision after my first surgery. That revision landed me in the hospital for days with a huge hematoma. Dr. Tom seemed casual about my complication saying “well if you had to pick one this is the best one to have picked.”

I have had nothing but issues with the billing situation. I haven’t received a final bill and when I requested that my deposit be refunded the billing department was rude and disrespectful. The hospital bill have come in and other bills have come also yet still nothing from them on a final bill. And flat out refusal to return my money while the “insurance company” sorts it out.

For a center of excellence I would not ever recommend this place.

Just caught #Blossombaratrics in a big fat lie. They said claims were denied when they were never filed because they refuse to fill out and single sheet. W9 form to recieve a check. As a QMB patient they are not legally allowed to bill me or to deny my insurance which is against and to deny services is also against the law. So I am reporting this to Medicare Fraud and abuse. I was an outpatient. My VSG was done by Dr Umbach on 2014 and achived great result. I went from 260 to 170ibs in a year. My weight has been kind of stable since then. It's been a year and a half I am really happy with the surgery. Highly recommend him to everyone who looking to get weight loss surgery done.

Dr. Tom Umbach is a very compassionate physician. He takes his time with every patient and answers every question thoroughly. His staff takes a personal approach to each and every patient that is seen and helps in their success with the WLS journey. I'm very grateful to have been referred to him by my PCP for the VSG surgery. Especially, since I had the lap band surgery with another bariatric surgeon in the Las Vegas area that I do not have any positive comments to say about him or his staff.
I would highly rate "BLOSSOM BARIATRICS" to absolutely everyone! See him once and you will understand my personal experience.

I just had my surgery done on the 7th May 2013 By Dr. Umbach. I was amazed at they the staff and the efficiency we were handled. I highly recommend him for the gastric sleeve. I went thru Medicare and tri care and was treated above and beyond. in Las Vegas. North Vista hospital. They also made my spouse comfortable and he stayed with meal of my duration there. We flew out from south Carolina without a hitch. Thank you Dr. Umbach For the new outlook on my life. you gave me my life back.

I had the sleeve at St. Rose De Lima Campus on May 3, 2013. I was impressed by the staff at Dr. Umbach's office. All very accommodating and friendly. Wait time was less than 15 minutes at the office. I was self pay and Mindy the Wellness Director was with the patients at the hospital the day of the surgery. The nurses at St. Rose where excellent too. The surgery went well with minimal pain. I am a week post op and doing great. I would recommend Dr. Umbach to anyone who was considering the sleeve and needed to be self pay.

I had sleeve sx in March 2012. I highly recomand Dr Umbach. I had NO problumes after Sx. The staff was very helpful I am fully recovered and doing well on my journey. His support group is very helpful after the Sx. The staff answered all my questions in a timely mannor and returnned all my phone calls the same day.

Very good Doctor, very nice staff.
