Dr. Fass has been a lighthouse for me since the first time I met him. He has been an absolute encouragement with nothing but insight for what the next step in the process was and what I could honestly expect pre-op and post-op.

Also, Dr. Fass has a team around him that will walk with you in EVERY facet of the surgery. If one person is not sure how to answer a question they will quickly seek the thoughts of the another team member to help you.

I really feel that Dr. Fass and his team truly will do everything they can to see you succeed. They can only do so much, but they will do every bit of it.

Dr. Fass is awesome! Great bedside manner. Did a wonderful job answering all of my questions (and my husband's MANY questions as well).

I felt very comfortable with him and my surgery. He is a very intelligent gentleman that inspires confidence.

I had my VSG on 9-13-11 by Dr. Fass. He is an amazing surgeon & he is so caring. He put me at ease during my entire process. This man changed my life forever.

I am for making my surgery (sleeve). I had another doctor at the beginning of this process but she is not longer work at the clinic. So I needed to choose another doctor from the list. One of the girls at the clinic asked me if I had some one else in mind to go and talk to and I said no. I believe Dr. Fass was the one available for my next appoinment that's why the saff in charge chose Dr. Fass for me.
The day of my appointment I felt a little confused. I really didn't know now what procedure to choose from to lose my weight.
Dr. Fass said just a few words ... If one of my loved ones ask me that would be the best surgery to loose weight, I would tell them that the Sleeve is the best. He did not say that this was the best for me, but I felt that he was very confident with his procedure and the results.
He made me feel safe and confident to do this surgery.
I left that room with the security that was the best procedure for me and that I'll be in good hands.

He was highly recommended by several other patients. He was very kind and compassionate. My husband and daughter really liked him. After 13 years of battling other diseases and ailments I've really gotten to where I research doctors and want someone with a good bedside manner. He's the man!! :-) I'm really looking forward to my journey with him as my surgeon by my side.

My surgeon was Dr. Steven Fass- I really like him- he was compassionate, caring, and always seemed to have the time to answer any and all questions I may have had. They have a very structured pre-op and post-op diet in place that's pretty easy to follow. I would rate him highly and recommend him to anyone I knew that was looking in to this surgery.

Dr. Fass is totally amazing. I first met him when I was looking for someone to revise a botched surgery. I had already seen countless others who couldn't or wouldn't help me for one reason or another. When he walked into the exam room, I knew he was different. He was so kind and attentive on top of being incredibly surgically competent and overall brilliant. He literally saved my life. After a year and a half of great health and yah a little weight gain, Dr. Fass put the lap band on me and I have had NO PROBLEMS. I had been nervous to have it adjusted after my ordeal with the previous surgery, and Dr. Fass kindly and patiently reassured me and I had it adjusted......I was worried for NOTHING!!!! It is great. Dr. Fass is a brilliant surgeon and i don't know how he does it but after the surgery, I had NO bruising and very minimal pain. I would recommend him to anyone who is seeking a surgeon. I'm convinced he can do no wrong ;)

Dr. Fass seems to be a great doctor so far I will know more and as time goes by.The staff is great and friendly with each and everyone who comes in the office.
One Year Later- I have not seen Dr. Fass for a while now but today I called and made an appointment for another fill and they were still just as wonderful as ever. Dana was even helpful in answering some questions I had.

Dr. Steven Fass gave me a great first impression and it hasn't changed. He's a very warm, caring doctor and has a great bedside manner. His entire staff is excellent and I would recommend him to anyone. I feel totally at ease with him and he never makes me feel like my questions are silly or that he doesn't have time for me.

The thing I like best about him is that is is willing to listen to anything I have to say.

Dr. Fass is a big believer in the patient taking an active role in their own progress. He supports and participates in the monthly support group meetings at St. David's Hospital in Austin.

He did a great job of addressing our concerns and laid out all the risks of surgery beforehand so we knew what we were getting ourselves in to.

I felt he was well qualified. He was involved in the FDA trials out in LA before the Lap Band™ was approved here in the US. He even assisted in Sharon Osborne's Lap Band surgery!

His entire staff seems to take a genuine interest in all their patients and their progress.
