He was and stil is an incredibly gifted surgeon! His bedside manor is flawless. His staff is there for you when you need them. Great education, and support before and after. Strict follow up for at least a year. You won't find a better doctor anywhere, period!

Dr. Boyce is an awesome doctor! The staff is friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about Dr. Boyce, as-far-as what I like least about him. Our office is big on aftercare and we belong in a \"club\" where we are offered a nutritionist, excercise physiologist and 24 on call nursing. I was well informed of risks in a 4 hour class where we could ask questions freely. There, we were again coached on nutrition, excercise and other aspects of the surgery and what to expect afterwards. We were given a manual to refer to when we had questions. Dr. Boyce's surgical competence is excellent. I was able to bend over the day after surgery and walk without real discomfort. Pain meds were not necessary upon returning home from the hospital. I atribute this to his procedures and gentleness during the surgery. I rate Dr. Boyce at the highest rating possible and all of my friends, that had surgery with him, do as well.

I totally love my surgeon and the staff. I thought that he would end up being one of those self centered Doctors that only cared about making the all might dollar. I couldn't have been more wrong about this.rnDr. Boyce never spoke down to me because I was so over weight. He always looked me in the eyes and explained everything to me to where I could understand it. He has the perfect beside manner, if only every doctor where as good as he is.rnHis staff is wonderful. They are all sweet and funny and really do care for the patients that they see. If I ever after a question and one of the Nurses are not able to talk to me right at the time I call, I never have to worry, cause I know by the end of the day, one of them will call me back to answer any questions that I may have.rnThe after care is wonderful and I never have to worry about anything. They are there whenever i need them.rnOn a scale of 1-10...I would rate Dr. Stephen Boyce and his staff as perfect 10...if not more.

When I first meet DR. Boyce I was very well pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful on anything you had or any questions. They help get all the info for insurance. And the nurses are there any time you need them. It is a wonderful office and the doctor is great. After surgery I was in a lot of pain and he was concerned and did what ever he could do to help me. He in f=very informed and tells anything you need to know. Everybody is great. No complaints here.

All I can say at this point is that he so very handsome, that always helps. Other than that he is very nice and has a great reputation, I have done lots of homework. I have only met with him one time, but his staff has been amazing. They are certainly a tribute to the practice. They have been very professional and patient with all questions and concerns. I just wish all medical practices could be this personally involved with their patients. They ahve made me feel very at ease. I am now waiting for The Rest of the Story.

Dr.Boyce is great. I had to stay in the hospital longer but Dr. Boyce was by every day to check on me & my family. Dr. Williams took over when Dr. Boyce had to go out of town he was great also. I'd give the whole staff 5 stars.

Dr. Stephen G. Boyce of Dallas, Texas attended Texas A&M University, College Station, and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Board Certified, American Board of Surgery, and Fellow, American College of Surgeons, Dr. Boyce began his practice in Knoxville in 1992. Dr. Boyce has greater than ten years experience performing Bariatric Surgery and is the medical director of bariatric services at Parkwest Hospital.rnrnThings you won't find out about Dr.Boyce online: He is a very attractive man with a soft spoken kindness in his voice and he smells fabulous. *smile* (this is where my husband would playfully roll his eyes)

He is wonderful as well as the rest of the team. He is very professional and makes sure his patients are well informed.

My surgeon was excellent. He was kind and considerate and took care to make sure I understood everything before the surgery. His staff is terrific.

I have my first appt. with Dr. Boyce on Dec. 10th at 9:30am. I am looking forward to the appt. and to see where I go from here. I have heard many good things about Dr. Boyce and looking forward to having a one o one with him.
