Dr. Holover was extremely informative and personable from our first meeting. He put me at ease and answered all of my questions. He saw me everyday while I was in the hospital, made sure that I was comfortable and answered any questions or concerns that I had. Any questions that I have had since coming home have been answered very quickly by either Dr. Holover or Dr. Garber. Dr. Holover also participates in a monthly information session and support group, which is very informative. I would highly recommend Dr. Holover and NYBG to anyone looking for a surgeon in the NY area.rn

I FOUND DR HOLOVER TO BE VERY REASURING IN HELPING ME UNDERSTAND MY SURGERY. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE FROM THE FIRST TIME I MET HIM.
THE OFFICE STAFF IS WONDERFUL AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS U MAY HAVE WITHOUT LOOKING AT YOU LIKE YOU HAVE 5 HEADS.
I DID HAVE SOME PROBLEMS AFTER MY OPERATION AND NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT IT WAS DR HOLOVER WAS THERE TO HELP ME AND ANSWER ANY CONCERNS I HAD.
IF I HAD TO DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN OR RECOMMEND A DR TO DO A FRIENDS OR FAMILY'S OPERATION I WOULD DEFINETLY TELL THEM TO SEE DR. HOLOVER. HE IS THE BEST DR I HAVE MET IN A LOT OF YEARS.

I JUST RECENTLY HAD MY SURGERY. WHEN I FIRST MET DR.HOLOVER I THOUGHT THAT HE WAS JUST GREAT. HE TOOK THE TIME AND WENT OVER THE WHOLE PROCEDURE. WHAT EVER QUESTIONS I HAD HE ANSWERD ALL OF THEM AND MADE SURE THAT I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING.
HE IS A GREAT DOCTOR VERY CARING AND CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY ONE WHO WAS HAVING WLS. MY THANKS GOES TO HIM FOR GIVING ME A 2ND CHANCE AT LIFE!!! A HEALTHY LIFE..:)THANK YOU!!! DR. SPENCER HOLOVER YOU'RE #1 IN MY BOOK.

Here is a note that I wrote to Dr. Holover (The Greatest Doctor in NY) after my surgery:

"Hi Dr. Holover! I just wanted to send you a thank you note to let you know how much I appreciate the work you did on me. I am so glad I chose you to be my surgeon. I have never met such a nice, knowledgable, skilled, courteous, and caring man. You have changed my life forever. I never thought I would heal this quickly. I had my surgery 1 week ago today and I am back to my 100% old self. I have no pains or anything. You really did an outstanding job on me. I can't wait to drop all my weight and show everybody the "new me". I'm going to give all the credit to you. If if wasn't for you and your phenomenal work, I would never be transforming to a new me each and every day. You have such great faith in me and that makes me want to wake up each and every day and prove to me and you that I can work hard to get down to my goal weight! You will always have a special place in my heart because you are changing my life forever. You will be involved in my journey for years to come and Im so glad that we will be involved with each other. Again, thank you for all the work you've done and you truly are, in my book, the greatest doctor in the world!!!! Take care!!!"

I would highly recommend anybody who is interested in Bariatric Surgery to go see Dr. Holover. I personally guarantee that you will not want to search for anybody else. He's your man. He's going to be with you throughout your journey and will be there for anything you need. He cares a great deal about his patients and will do anything and help you through any obstacle you may have. His staff is honestly the best staff I've ever experienced with going to different doctors. They will do anything for you. They are always there if you need anything. Dr. Holover had a great disposition, very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything and answers any questions I or my panicking father had. after surgery, 9 times out of 10 I could get him on the phone if I needed him. He was wonderful. Highly recommended
