Sheila Partridge Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Partridge is a wonderful surgeon and a great person! She is very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable from the moment I met her. She truly cares for her patients! Going with the NW program, and more importantly Dr. Partidge was the best decision I have made-- actually 2nd best to having the surgery!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Partridge and the other surgeons on the team. I say that because this practice, Chestnut Surgical, is definately a team effort. Dr. Partridge is a highly skilled very professional and personable surgeon. She is younger than her two partners but extremely competent. These three surgeons make rounds together and assist each other in the Operating Room. The office staff, Dietician and Psychologist are all great. Insurance approvals are all taken care of by the office staff. They do everything for you. What I had to do as a patient was follow their directions, Drs. orders, and lose some weight before surgery. I believe this practice is the best in the region.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Partridge. She is very sharp and intelligent, which is very important to me. She takes my concerns seriously and is very easy for me to approach. I have full confidence in her and feel very safe in her hands. The program at Newton-Wellesley hospital is wonderful, they highly stress aftercare and never make you feel like you are bothering them if you call with a question.

My first impression of Dr. Partridge was that she was a competent surgeon, but not very friendly. As I got to know her, she really opened up. My surgery went very well and I had no complications. I think she is a very capable surgeon and did a great job! Her office staff is terrific as well as the other Doctors in her group. Future patients should know that it will take a while to get to know her and that she wants to make sure that they are going to make the necessary effort to succeed at this surgery process. The group has an excellent aftercare program and are very accessible to answer any questions. The group fully explained the risks associated with the surgery. Overall, I would give Dr. Partridge an excellent rating. Her surgical competence is better than her bedside manner, and I certainly think that surgical competence is more important.

My impression of Dr. Partridge is that she is very knowledgeable and pleasant. It felt strange to have a new doctor younger than me, but she made me feel she understood what being overweight does to you mentally and physically. I have met with her twice one-on-one and found she takes time to answer all questions. She addresses the risks of surgery as well as the many benefits it can provide and I have complete confidence in her abilties.

When I first met Dr. Partridge, it was really great. She gave me soooo much information. Answered all of my questions honestly. I pretty psyched because she is a woman, and can relate to my concerns. She is also aware of the pressures that women face everyday regarding weight. I am really glad that she will be performing my surgery. Its great because Dr. Thayer and Dr. Gazmuri will be attending... Extra support is always good.

The staff at Newton Wellesley are great. When I went to my pre-op support group, I spoke with the same people I spoke with on my initial consult. They were still very helpful and led me to get rid of some of the fears that I had in my head. They are terrific. I highly recommend Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA.

Dr. Partridge was very pleasant and helped me feel relaxed on my first meeting with her. She explained everything in detail and was very patient with my questions that I had prepared before my first meeting. I feel confident that she is a good surgeon and look forward to the next pre-op visit.

Dr. Partridge works with Drs. Thayer and Gazmuri at Newton Wellesley Surgical. She is very caring and compassionate, and very knowledgable. I am a little nervous because she is fairly new there, but everyone keeps assuring me that she is the right choice.

I chose Dr. Sheila Partridge (She works in Dr. Thayer/Gazmuri's office) as my surgeon. She is new - I won't lie, this scared me a little bit, but after meeting with her have every confidence that everything will run smoothly. She has a good bedside manner. The office staff was very nice. Environment was pleasant.
