I want to thank Dr. Sowemimo for giving me my life back. I have a 8 year old special needs son and I couldn't keep up with him. I am 4 months post surgery down 60 lbs and I feel great. My co workers make fun of me since my clothes are too big, but I want to wait until I hit my goal weight to get new clothes. The staff here very helpful, and kind. They answer all your questions and concerns. They make you feel wonderful. They always have a smile on their faces when you come in. Thank you again.

I had a gastric sleeve done on July 1 by Dr Seun Sowemimo. From the beginning of my journey the doctor, PA, nutritionist Lori and entire staff were so comforting and wonderful to me. This hasn't been easy but everyone here has been amazing.

Dr Seun is an amazing human being. He is a skilled surgeon and he cares so much about the whole patient. The best decision I ever made was choosing him to do the weight loss surgery. His staff, the entire team at the hospital and Dr. Seun took care of me like I was a member of his family. We are truly blessed to have found him and he continues to advocate for healthy Iiving in so many ways; in and out of the office!! This is what a Doctor should be but unfortunately there are very few of them around. Thank you Dr. Seun for everything!!

My experience with Dr. Seun has been both beneficial and rewarding...So glad I made the decision to have the sleeve.

I had the Gastric Sleeve surgery on May 27, 2015. I was in the hospital one night and I was up and about soon after I was out of recovery. Dr. Sean, Gina and the entire office team (Joan, Jessica and Lori) truly know what they are doing. From day one it was a seamless process; they were all very knowledgeable and helpful. They say it starts from the top; well that is true in this case; Dr. Sean is the top and his staff follows him; they are true professionals. The surgery was flawless, I had no pain and was very fortunate not to have any gas pain. Dr. Sean had everything down to a science for you to have the best possible experience. The nurses of CentraState Hospital were excellent and you can see they too work as a team with Dr. Sean. Both Dr. Sean and Gina spent a lot of time talking with me in the hospital, which was a blessing, since this surgery is life changing. They answered all my questions and I felt confident I made the right decision. I am doing well and I would like to thank Dr. Sean and his team for a job well done!!!!!!

Today marks my 1 week post op and the experience has been wonderful so far. The office visits were informative, the pre-testing made me feel thoroughly checked out and safe to proceed and the surgery itself went very smoothly. The most discomfort was only the first couple of days for me, but after that, not bad at all. Each day I'm feeling better and better, getting stronger, exercising and looking forward to what the future holds for the new and improved me!

I have never been more impressed with a Dr or person before in my life.
I am happy to report that even after 2 yrs this man takes his time when he sees me,
Is truly interested not only in my weight loss, but my physical well being, and mental as well....if you decide to get this surgery make no mistake, is it physical?
yea sure..but so much is emotional..we all got obese for a reason
and decided to self soothe with food instead of drugs or alchohol...
His office staff is beyond reproach...friendly, helpful and always also willing to take time and answer questions.
I can NOT recommend this DR. Enough...

Was so pleased to be referred to Dr. Sowemimo and his staff. They were extremely through in their preoperative visits with multiple physicians, obtaining tests/bloodwork/clearances. I have never had such a comprehensive work up before. It was great to also establish a Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, GI Physician, etc. as I had never been to seen any of these specialists. Dr. Sowemimo and his staff also made sure to prepare you for every detail related to the gastric surgery you selected. I was very aware of every step of my admission, surgery, postop plan and discharge before I even went to the hospital.

I am one week postop and looking forward to the changes in my life as I prepare for a new me. I felt Dr. Sowemimo kindly and patiently led me through all of the stages of the bariatric surgery that was right for me. What a wonderful experience through a stressful time of my life.

I am currently a patient of Dr Sowemino (Dr. Seun). Dr. Seun was recommended to me by a family member who had the gastric sleeve surgery. It is my 8th day since I've had the same surgery and I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Seun and his staff. From day one the staff has been great. The process of obtaining medical clearances for surgery takes about 4 months. This can be a little stressful, but the staff was a big help getting me through it. They were always available to answer my questions and give advice. Dr. Seun's professionalism is absolutely the best! I never felt rushed during any of our consults. Dr Seun was thorough in explaining all procedures available to me, pro's and con's of each, so I would be 100% sure when I made my decision. Dr. Seun's calm, cool, and confident demeanor reassured me that I was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Dr Seun to anyone looking to have or thinking about having bariatric surgery.
