I lugged my overweight self around for the last 10 years and wasted away my 20's. My experience with Dr. Seun and his team at Central Jersey Bariatric was nothing short of excellent, and im looking forward to my 30's which will truly be my best years. I feel like Dr. Seun and his team gave me my life back. First impression was made by his friendly office staff (who can make or break a good office experience) and they were all friendly, they answered all of my questions, and were very organized with their paperwork and in communication with one another.

Dr. Seun himself was very personable, and actually the first thing I noticed was his snazzy shoes! He was very quick in answering all of my questions, and addressed all the issues/fears i had about surgery and its risks. I will say that the wait time in his office is a little long, but in my experience, doctors who run behind are worth the wait, because they TAKE THIER TIME with their patients. Waiting was well worth it. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat and have 2 friends heading over to Dr. Seun within the next 2 weeks. THANK YOU!

I had my surgery and have lost 60lbs. I love Dr. Sean he is a wonderful doctor and person . He explained every thing and there were no suprises I would recomend him to any one thinking of haveing weight loss surgery .

I had a lot of fears with having surgery and talked to Dr. Seun about it and he made me feel better and explained the procedure well. I went through with the surgery and had a good recovery. I also attended his seminar and the support group which I would recommend you can learn a lot from that and get to meet and hear others experiences. He is a good doctor. I am very happy so far. When I first approached the office I was scared but knew this was the right thing to do. I thought he was a little serious at the first visit, but I also attended an orientation that he hosted around the first visit and found he was more relaxed and somewhat humorous.
It has been a week since my surgery. The first 48 hours were hard, but after going home I was confident on what was in store for me and what I had to do. All of the information I needed was given to me ahead of time in the three months prep,and I was readily prepared. Information was given on risks and problems during and afterward. Dr. Seun, and his staff are wonderful and caring and are there to answer ANY questions.

Being in the care of Dr. Sowemimo was a great experience. I felt completely safe and comfortable through the entire process. He kept me well informed of all aspects pertaining to bariatric surgery, no matter what type of question I asked. His staff is excellent and guides you all the way. I highly recommend Dr. Seun.

October 22, 2012 I had VSG surgery and hital hernia repaired. My surgery and recovery went good.
I was truly blessed to have a great surgeon.
Dr. Sowemimo has shown from the beginning confidence, professionalism and compassion.
He continues to encourage and support me through my weight loss journey. I lost 49 lbs. so far, feeling healthy and happy.

i had gone to dr. sowemino seminar back in summer of 2012. i liked what i heard. i decided to have a consultation oct of 2012. dr. sowemino took the time to answer my questions and explain what will happen. i decided to go ahead with the procedure so in jan 2013 i had the sleeve. i just started to eat food now and have lost 19 pounds. i feel great. thank you dr. sowemino.

I was referred by two co-workers who were patients of and had weight loss surgery by Dr. Seun Sowemimo. They had only great things to say about him and the surgery. I wasn't sure if surgery was right for me. But after meeting Dr. Seun I knew it was the right decision. Everyone in the office was helpful and always nice and welcoming. They assisted me every step of the way with insurance issues and tests needed, etc. They truely walked me through everything. I felt very comfortable and confident in Dr. Seun. He seems to really care about every aspect of his patient's weight loss journey. He explained all my options to me clearly and fully prepared me for what to expect. He was wonderful in the hospital after surgery very caring and explained patiently to my family what was done and what to expect, something most dr. these days don't take the time to do. Following my surgery I felt very comfortable calling the office with any issues I may have had and getting help whenever needed. My weight loss has been a blessing to my life and now I can do so much more than I had hoped I would be able to do!! I have lost 120 lbs and am just about at my personal goal. I have worked hard and am so thankful to Dr. Seun for helping me get my life back. I will continue to follow up with Dr. Seun on a regular basis. He enphasizes follow up and having a support system. I would recommend weight loss surgery, especially by Dr. Seun Sowemimo. Thank you Dr. Seun, You are the best!

Two high school friends and I met over the summer at a barbecue and both had gastric sleeves performed by Dr. Seun. I had contemplated bariatric surgery in the past but was always afraid. Never had heard of a gastric sleeve. They had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Seun, so hence my journey began and one week ago I too had a gastric sleeve. I have already lost 16lbs. since the surgery. I haven't been this weight for 11 years. I am alittle weak and glad the liquid diet is over and am looking forward to a brand new life. Thank you Dr. Suen and staff and CentraState for helping me get the best care ever. I live 40 minutes from the hospital but it was worth the trek knowing I was in the best hands.

This was the best thing I ever did! Dr. Seun and his team are great. I have lost close to 55 lbs in 3 months and I feel good and have soo much more energy. 5 Stars to Dr. Seun and his team!
