Awesome surgeon! He did a wonderful job, everyone at his practice has been wonderful.
South Jersey Bariatrics was a great choice and they work wonderfully with your insurance. Support meetings every month.
Dr. Wasser is really nice and very funny, wish he could slow down some when visiting with you, he is so good he seems to be very busy. But other then that he is great!

Dr Wasser is a really nice person. He spends time with you and helps you decide which surgery is best for you. Great bedside manner and extremely competent.
His office staff is 50/50. There a a few super nice ladies but quite a few that smiling once in a while wouldn't hurt them. Could definitely use improvement

My first impression of Dr. Wasser was that he was very attractive and well dressed. Dr. Wasser is a classy, reserved individual who, after my consultation, made me believe in his ability and how well his group will be able to assist me through my journey. rnrnWhen you go to Dr. Wasser, I would not expect an over exhuberant, touchy, feely individual. However, I found his quiet, reserve approach just what I needed.rnrnAftercare is really emphasized. Obviously with the band there are fills but you are required to join and attend Dr. Wasser's support group meetings. Cost is nominal $250.00 at this point.rnrnThe risks of surgery were fully outlined at my consult and then delved into even more at the support group meeting.rnrn

I was very pleased with my surgeon. His office staff, specifically Tina, was fabulous. Meeting her put me completly at ease about the entire surgery preparation, paperwork, etc. She has always been very helpful before and after the surgery.rnrnDr. Wasser seems to be a perfectionist...a quality I relate to and respect. Other people may be turned off by his perfectionism. He has, and continues to have, high expectations for his patients. His style can be seen as very businesslike.....but when I was most scared, uncertain, and a bit frightened (i.e. leaving the hospital)...he showed his caring demeanor as well. While others may find him too distant , I looked to him as efficient, demanding (in a good way), and professional.rnrnWhen you choose a surgeon, you want someone who refuses to do less than his best, and Dr. Wasser's surgical competence is just that, the best.

My first meeting with Dr. Wasser was quite by accident (Dr. Ing was held up in surgery and had to miss my appointment). I was told I could reschedule or hang around a few minutes and Dr. Wasser would see me so I wouldn't have to come back. It was fate - I felt comfortable with him immediately. He was direct, explained everything thoroughly and made me feel at ease. I had my lapband surgery on Oct. 3, 2006 and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The whole surgical team, office staff, and hospital staff were just absolutely terrific. Dr. Wasser visited me twice in the hospital and I was only there one night! Aftercare is extremely important to Dr. Wasser. I've been to several support group meetings since the surgery and he's been to every one. When he says he's available to you 24/7 he means it. My overall rating for Dr. Wasser would be outstanding.
