Haven't had surgery yet, but will follow up with a new review once I do. The ladies in the office and others I have dealt with this these past few months have been great. Great office and love the support group so far.

Dr Anderson did my Lap-Band surgery in November 2010. She perforated my bowel in the process and I ended up in emergency surgery the following day. While I was hospitalized she was wonderful to me however, I find her to be a little too much "all business" when I go to my follow up appointments. I am having a dilly of a time getting my insurance to pay for the second surgery and 5-day hospital stay as I have a limit on weight loss surgery. They've tied it all together claiming if I didn't have the surgery I would not have had the bowel resection. I may have to sue for the bill or settle out of court. I cannot afford a $40,000 hospital bill and I don't feel I should have to pay for it. I'm torn because I really like Dr Anderson.

I was very impressed on her knowledge and to inform me of all info i needed. It hasn't. Her office staff is very kind and professional.I don't have anything i don't like. She makes sure of your care after your surgery and you have follow ups which helps you succeed. Yes she had a structure program. Yes she did, she informed about risks. She approached it in a professional way that didn't scare you but you understood.I rate her waaayyy up there. I would recomend her to anyone!! I don't have anything negative to say about my experience.

The most sincere, dedicated surgeon I have ever met. I found Dr. Anderson to be very personable, very concerned with the outcome of my surgery. She and her staff walked with me from the initial meeting through my surgery and now through my recovery. I trust Dr. Anderson completely or I never would have had this surgery. I would rate her bedside manner superb and her competence above reproach. She has an excellent reputation. I have no negative feelings about the surgeon or her staff. She (herself) called me at home the day after I was released. Three years later, her after surgery care is wonderful. I can call with any questions or concerns and they address it immediately.

I feel comfortable recommending Dr. Anderson to anyone considering WLS. The efficiency of the process working with her office was great. The time elapsed between the first information session, psych eval, dietary consult, and my information being sent to the insurance company was less than 1 month. They gave me a choice of dates for my surgery the day after my insurance approval went through. Shortly before admission, there was an orientation session at the hospital that included a tour of the facility, a review of the post op nutritional guidelines, and also a classroom set up with a dummy in bed showing all of the equipment that we could expect to see after the surgery. An experienced nurse gave a talk on what to expect and answered any last minute questions. We had to take a written test to show that we understood what was expected of us after surgery. Dr. Anderson wrote prescriptions for all of my post op meds BEFORE I went into the hospital so that I could have time to get everything ready. My overall impression of Dr. Anderson is she is very competent and also compassionate. It was the first time I'd ever had a doctor to give me a hug. They do have a very structured followup program. Office visits start out fairly close together and then gradually decrease in frequency to once a year. Each time I go for an office visit I fill out a form that asks about any problems I might be having, what I'm eating and drinking, what kind of exercise I'm doing, and also about any meds and supplements I'm taking. She then reviews this information so that we can have a focused conversation when we meet. Her surgical group pretty much follows their patients for life. There are monthly support group meetings (one for R&Y and one for DS) that the surgeons also attend, so they are available to answer questions in an open forum. The office staff are also very experienced and available to address most questions and concerns. Some of the staff at her office have had WLS, so they are particularly sensitive and empathetic to the needs of morbidly obese patients.

Although I have only spoken with her twice pre-surgery, (due to family emergency she had to leave town after my surgery) I have nothing but good things to say about her. She seemed like a very nice woman and consummate professional. I have had ZERO complications with my surgery and everything is going as planned. Just a great experience with great results so far!
