I was so nervous when I had my first meeting. I cried. My pressure was up. Dr. Dallal and his staff made me feel so much better. They were warm and considerate of me as a person. Dr. Dallal was very informative and answered each question I had before I asked them.

Dr. Dallal is wonderful. Everything he told me came true. The weight came flying off and my self confidence has been growing everyday. He has made himself available for questions both before and after surgery and the staff he surrounds himself with are just marvelous.rnrnI know it has been said before but he has saved my life and I am eternally greatful.rnrnDolores

'My first impression of Dr. Dallal was wonderful and it didn't change. He made me feel very much at ease with the surgery. He is a wonderful surgeon and I was back to work in twelve days. I have had no problems at all. If you are considering WLS I would highly recommend this doctor . The office staff has been great. Very helpful! Aftercare is great and getting even better. It's like you have a new family. Dr Dallal was upfront about the risks involved in the surgery. I really was never even nervous before surgery. rnOne note: I had talked to so many patient who raved about the surgery and recovery was so fast. I did have a big surprise because

10 February 2006

After a couple of years of passive contemplation and 6 months of in-depth research, I have decided that I am going to persue Weight Loss Surgery (WLS). I was incredibly excited to hear that Ramsey Dallal, MD, FACS, was going to be moving to Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He is a veritable expert on the LAP RNY and has a spotless record and great reviews. With this, and a lengthy gap in my schedule this summer, I figure...strike while the iron is hot. I have my initial consult with Dr. Dallal on the 13th of this month. I have had a very positive experience with his office staff so far. I called them after the initial call to ask if I should call my insurance company to make sure they cover WLS, and they responded right away, "Hi we already did that, we'll see you monday." So far, they're getting points in my book.....

Well, I went in for my first consultation, and it was great. Dr. Dallal is a great man, with a great intellect and a great awareness of the struggles of the obese. I had a feeling of having to rationalize my decision on surgery, because I have none of the common comorbidities associated with WLS patients. As I was talking about my horrible family history, he broke into my diatribe and said, "you don't have to prove anything to me, I want to helpy you attain a better quality of life." Well, That's more than enough for me, when it comes to practicing good medicine. During the visit he was kind, didn't condescend, and was very thorough. My appointment was the day after a huge snow storm, and I was over 25 minutes late. I kept in touch with the office via cell phone, and they were great. Never an attitude, never a problem. Even with my lateness, Dr. Dallal spent almost an hour with me. Einstein Bariatrics has a great pre-op and post-op care. In residence, they have their own psychologist, nutritionist and physical therapist. And best of all, you get to see them all on one day over the course of 3 hours. No multiple trips!--I love that. I am seeing the trio of gurus on the 7th of march. In the meanwhile, Dr. Dallal has been incredibly responsive to my questions. Always quick to respond, and always open to more questions. I feel like I am really lucky to have found Dr. Dallal and Einstein Bariatrics. Well, I should say that I'm happy that Dr. D. decided to come to Philadelphia. I asked him why he came back East, since he had a very successful practive in CA. He responded, Einstein has given me the opportunity to practice medicine the way that I know is the best. And from what I can see, I think it's the best too!

Dr. Dallal has been just wonderful. I have recently found out that he has relocated back to PA, and I am very disappointed as I don't want to see another doctor. He made sure that I understood the risks and exactly what to expect. I had a couple of issues after the surgery and Dr. Dallal returned my call within 20 minutes and was very concerned and responsive. His office staff at the NEW Program is very good. I have recommended the NEW Program to several people who are considering the surgery. I really cannot think of anything negative to say about Dr. Dallal as he and Huntington Beach Hospital staff exceeded my expectations for care and concern.

Very impressed with Dr. Dallal. Because of my first meeting with him, I decided to use him, even though his office is over 700 miles from my home. He had far more experience than anyone that I could have used locally in Southern Oregon did.

My surgery took only about 90 minutes, and there were no drains after the surgery and no incisions other then 5 very small holes. I have seen pictures of others that have had the surgery with my 5 holes plus a 5-inch incision, so it looks like some surgeons do the surgery partially LAP and partly open, and call them LAP. Dr. Dallal’s operation was 100% lap.

His staff was OK. Sometimes it would take them a little while to get back with an answer, but overall, I have no real complaints.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dallal to anyone considering an RNY.

Their aftercare is difficult for me do judge because I live so far away. I do much of the aftercare up here in Oregon.

All of the risks were addressed before the operation, though I was already aware of them.

Dr. Dallal’s surgical competence and bedside manner were great.

Office staff has been wonderful, quick to submit to insurance and provides a wonderful program and followup. Dr. Dallal is friendly and spends lots of time reviewing the procedure and making sure all questions are answered. Complication rates are very low for his practice, due to great surgical technique and strict attention to detail.

I met with Dr. Dallal today for my pre-op consultation. I found him to be very caring and conscientious. He went to great pains to explain the surgery and to make sure that both myself and my husband were comprehending his explanations. I felt very comfortable with him and much easier about the surgery. He didn't gloss over the after effects, but presented them reasonably and thoroughly. The same with the risks of the surgery. Overall I would rate him a 10 on a scale of 1-10.

Everyone is very nice.

Dr. Siegfried was very thorough and super nice. The staff is very nice except when I had to do pre-admit the person that was to help me was gone and no one else seemed to help me as much as I expected.

I like the office staff overall except for a few clitches I encountered pre-admitting.

I did not meet with Dr. Quebemann I met with Dr. Dallal he was very nice and thorough explained how the surgery would affect me. Made sure I was well informed gave me a lot of reading material.

Everyone is very nice and everyone at Huntington Beach hospital seem to be very confident with The New Program I met a few people that spoke very highly of them and where going to have it done too.

Dr. Siegfried was very specific on what I need to do after surgery how I need to take care of myself. Definitely emphazied aftercare.

They have a very good structured after care program. I am very confident that if I follow their advise I will be the healthiest I have ever been.

In regards to the risk of surgery they where very honest and upfront with the risks everyone goes through when you have surgery, they like to make sure you know there is risk although overall very minimal due to it being laparoscopic there is always risks.

I am very satisfied and confident overall Like I said before I was a little frustrated when I had to pre-admit for surgery and no one seemed to direct me to the right people.

Both.
