Peter Rovito Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Dr. Rovito and his staff have been the best. He is a compassionate man who cares about his patients. He trats his patients with respect.

My first impression of Dr. Rovito was that he was very knowledgable and confident in his abilities. He advised me that RNY LAP was the way to go, and that he was very good at it, hehehe. He is nice and straighforward and doesn't prejudge you at all. I hated going to doctors that imediately assume that you are lazy and unactive just because your heavy. HE is a refreshing change and makes you feel at ease and has a great sense of humor. I'm glad I chose him as my surgeon. He visited with me and checked on me several times in the hospital and was present for the leak test after the procedure. It made me feel better to know he wanted to make sure everything was working correctly. He lended me a hand stepping down off the step stool back to my wheel chair, hehehe. His Residents were very nice also. Dr. Howard was great and talked with me and my family and answered our questions. Another resident came to check on me also, but I was kind of out of it and didnt catch his name. Besides the pain, the whole experience was good.

I liked Dr Rovito, thought he was very straight foward and up front, his staff was very kind and friendly, i have an app. with him on Jan 9th, so i can furthur inform anyone as to how much more or less i like hime after this 2cd apt. but as for now i am satisfied

my mother had gotten the gastric bypass surgery from dr peter rovito and she did nothing but rave about what a great doctor he is. also about how he is a wonderful person. on my first doctor visit i was anxious and also a little bit nervous. i walked into his office and to my surprise it didn't even seem like an office. it was very home-like. he made me very comfortable and my nerves calmed down. there is nothing bad that i can say about him. i have not had the surgery yet though.

Dr. Rovito was very understanding and very helpful to me. He was a little surprised to know how much I understood about this surgery. He, however, is somewhat skeptical about the information patients get from the internet because some information can be misleading. I can understand this because this will be my 6th major surgery and everyone was a little different from what others told you to expect.
His office staff is just super and very willing to help with all of your concerns and problems. They even send the letter to your insurance company for you.
The first visit is really to get to know you; let you know what this is all about; and help you make a decision.

Dr. Rovito was one of the best surgeons I have ever had, and I have had a few in my lifetime. He is good, he is funny, he cares about his patients, you couldn't ask for more. He operates almost exclusively LAP unless there are severe complications. He noted as the best in this area and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Peter Rovito was a very pleasant man and I trust him whole heartedly with my life while he is changing mine forever. His office staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering any questions I had. There was nothing I didn't like about him or his office personel. When people go to visit Dr. Rovito they make you feel very important and relaxed. He emphasizes that it is very important on follow-up visits after the surgery. Yes he has a structured aftercare program and I knew all about the risks before I went to see him. I would rate him a 10, if you are going from a 1-10 and 10 being the best. Surgical and bedside manner is what I was looking for in a Dr. to care for me and to do the procedure. I trust Dr. Rovito 100% and I would recommend him to anyone that asks me. I'm looking forward to the day I can wear small size clothing, and go in a regular store to buy my clothes, and to have the energy that I'm lacking now. I'm looking forward to meeting the real Susan Jarrell that I lost a long time ago, now I will be getting her back in a few months.

I THOUGHT DR.ROVITO WAS A VERY NICE MAN WHO TREATED ME WITH RESPECT. HE SAID HE COULD HELP ME AFTER SEEING ME AND TALKING WITH ME. HE HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR AND MADE ME FEEL AT EASE. HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS ALSO VERY NICE. I HAVE ANOTHER APPT. FOR NOV. 14 WHICH IS TWO WEEKS BEFORE MY SURGERY. WE WILL TALK MORE AT THAT TIME. I KNOW ALL THE RISKS AND THE BENEFITS. I AM GOING INTO THIS WITH MY EYES WIDE OPEN.

My first impression of Dr Rovito was very reassuring. He was very forward, answered all questions, and was just so personable not once did i feel uncomfortable about why i was there and talking about my weight problem. The office staff was excellent, my kudos to Karen expecially. They were great and helped me feel as comfortable as possible. I feel very secure with my choice of surgeon, and i know he was the right choice for me. I go back on Nov 9th for the whole information process where we go over everything, so i will write and tell you what was up.
