Dr. Lalor is a good doctor. He might come off a little smug in the beginning, but if you actually get to know him, he's a pretty nice guy. He can be tough but I think that's just because he cares. Just because he's a bit harsh doesn't mean that he lacks compassion. He has a good bedside manner and generally speaking he's a great surgeon. I can honestly say he cares for his patients' well-being. He doesn't want to see you fail, so he'll be a little hard on you if he has to. If it weren't for him, I'd hate to think where I'd be right now. And also, he's easy on the eyes, so that's a plus!

Dr. Lalor saved my life. After going through the process with another surgeon in Toledo I was denied surgery for a bogus reason. Dr. Lalor trusted me and proceeded with the surgery. He was so clear about everything that could happen that I was prepared for anything. He made it clear he was to be the only doctor to see if I had any problems after the procedure. That made me confident that he truly cared for me as an individual. His support staff is amazing and I would recommend Dr. Lalor and the Wood County Hospital to anyone. I received the best care. I didn t have an good experience with Dr. Lalor - He is/was very rude to me from the day of surgery and past visits. Nothing was explained to me. he did have an arrogance to announce the day after my surgery that " i was not going to make it", well i prove him wrong. Do your homework on Dr for your surgery. Look into several. Thou i did learn, I WILL NEVER let a dr treat me the way, he did, ever again.

Sweet and simple review. He is a great doctor and will take time to answer any questions you have and he is honest about it also. Very glad to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Peter F. Lalor is an amazing surgeon!! I would recommend him and his staff to anyone considering bariatric surgery! He is a very caring, straight forward doctor that does not sugar coat anything that he has to say, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Dr. Lalor and his staff is very supportive before and after surgery. I have called his office with numerous questions and they are always so nice and never make me feel like I am a bother. As far as anything negative, there is nothing! I can't say I would change anything about my Doc or my surgery!

I am scheduled for surgery on October 16th 2012, and I have been remarkably impressed with Dr. Lalor as well as his office staff! They have always been honest and candid about things, and I think that is a great quality in a health care professional.

So far I am soooo amazed by Dr. Lalor and his staff. They are so kind, patient and knowledgeable. I could not be happier with how things have gone to this point! I would recommend Dr. Lalor to absolutely everyone! Even if you have to travel across state to get here...do it! He is sooo worth it and so is his staff! I love so much my dietitian Ginger! Amazing, I actually learned what I need to do to make my surgery a success! Thanks so much!

My experience with Dr lalor was perfect , he was bunt and straight forward with me always even if it was harsh i appreciated it. The staff was always kind and soft hearted towards me . i would and recommended him to all my family an friends that are interested in weight lost. I will continue to support him as he has always gave me support. The surgery it self was completely painless. My post op with him was the same he always kept it honest and open.

Dr. Lalor and his staff are above awesome! I was nervous about getting my RNY at first but once I met him I knew that I was in excellent hands. He has a passion to help overweight people achieve a healty life and I am so greatful that he gave me a second chance at life. I already have and will continue to recommend him to anyone I meet that may be thinking of weight loss surgery.

I was very nervous about going to a doctor out of my hometown, but Dr. Lalor was recommended by a few co-workers so I met with him. I am so glad that I did. I totally recommend him and his staff. They are very knowlegable and caring. The office staff are very helpful with getting your insurance approved and also if you have any questions they are happpy to assist. I had surgery on Nov 29, 2011 and have had NO problems. I would definately recommend Dr. Lalor and his staff.
