dr. stanish is wonderful. i found him to be a dedicated & compassionate person. with a rnheart to help overweight patients who arernwilling to change their past habits throughrnseminars, counselling and above all a desirernin their live for a change. to help in anywayrnfor his patients to reach their goal of becomingrna well in-formed, healthy and happy individual. the before surgical staff of insurance, dieticians and counselors were/arernfantastic. his surgical and after surgery staffrnwere more than kind, comical and compassionate, as well. he also stresses in order to acheive the patients goal, they mustrnbe willing to continue with his structured after care program. i truly, recommend methodistrns/lake weightloss center and dr. paul stanishrnto anyone overweight and ready to make arnchange in their live.rn

Very caring, but very strict. I like this he has a shcedule for the best outcome and expects you to keep it. The program he has set up at Methodist Hosp is great! It covers everything, before and after.

Bottom line.....He is a very good surgeon. I would recommend him to all that has this surgery. I think that his staff is very good. His aftercare program is very well put together and all questions no matter how small are answerd without any attitude. Sometimes his staff are to relaxed with patients which can make things strange...not bad it takes time to get used to.

Dr. Stanish is a great doctor. He knows his business and is very up front about everything. He explains everything about the procedure, pre and post op etc. Follow up is good. The office staff is absolutely great. They have a good system there and are always available to you. They're support is awesome. I carefully chose the doctor and his staff and have absolutely no regrets about my choice.

Dr. Stanish is very friendly and takes all the time you need answering questions and making sure you understand all aspects of the surgery. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. I feel I've made the right choice in picking them to help me with my lapband journey.

Dr. Stanish is GREAT! He seemed quiet and shy the first time I met him but every time since then he cracks me up. He's a great doctor and great person. Easy to get along with and he knows his stuff!

I met with Dr. Stanish for my pre-op evaluation. He was very friendly and thorough. He took the time to answer all my questions and describe all possible complications. His staff is absolutely wonderful. Always a phone call away and available to answer any questions.

Dr. Stanish is a no-nonsence guy. He pretty much tells it like it is. I had complete confidence in him right from the start. His physician's assistant, Holly, is great. She saw me everyday in the hospital and is very easy to talk to and get along with.
