2/5/03 OK well, Dr. Mora is pretty great. He is very cute and nice...kind of quiet, but really smart. I am getting nervous about my surgery now because its only 3 weeks away. I keep reading testimonials aobut how people have done and it makes me very excited. I think the thing I am most worried about is recovery and how I will feel afterwards. I dont want to feel bad & sick. I am hoping that the weight loss will boost up my energy and make me feel tons better!! WE'll see!

I had my first consult with Jan 8,2003. I was Impressed with him. I never even asked him any Questions he answered most of them before I had a chance to ask! I have a bad family history of illness so he has sent me for every test in the book I think!I am glad though he is taking every precaution. His staff Ty and Jennifer are great they alwalys call back with any answers that I need. I would highly recommend him to anyone concidering surgery.

01/23/03 I really like Dr Mora he is very quiet but he explains everything well he does require alot of test but i guess its for the best so he will know everything before the process will update more after surgery he did my EGD today and it went very smooth no pain or anything so he must be really careful with you

I have had my first consult with Dr. Mora. He is professional and to the point, but very thorough, scheduling me for numerous tests. His staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that made me uneasy was the way he looked at my abdomen as though I were a thing, but I guess my modesty has been hurt before. I believe that his professionalism and competence is much more important than his bedside manner.

My first impression of Dr. Mora was that he was young and kind of quiet. He is extremely thorough. My husband and I were in the examining room with him for 45 minutes. He went over an information booklet with me and explained in detail how he does the surgery. He answered all of the questions I had, and was not in a rush at all. He examined me, checking my heart and lungs, my eyes, throat and glands. He examined my abdomen while I was laying down and standing up. He is scheduling pre-op testing based on my individual health concerns and my family history. His staff seems nice, although his office is not fancy. I feel very comfortable with my decision to use this doctor, and will post more about my experience with him as time goes on.
Tyisha, who is Dr. Mora's insurance/surgery coordinator, is a sweetheart! She was wonderful to me throughout the whole process of trying to get approval!

Dr. Mora is very young and cute!
The impression didn't change. He was cute but he also knew his job. He was very open and honest about the surgery. He told me the pro's and con's about the surgery. His staff was very friendly. I have no complaints about Dr. Mora. Once patients go in to see him, they will be very impressed because the staff is friendly and he is very patient and answers all questions very throughly. He stated a few things about aftercare but he first tells you about the procedure, complications and getting approval. He stressed that there are risks and emphasize the complications. On a scale of 1-10, I would give Dr. Mora a 15. I am yet to experience the surgical procedure.

My first impression was how nice and humble he is. He is young and knowlegeable.
His office staff that worked with me, Tisha, was so nice and polite. Anyway that she could help was offered. My visit was very thorough and every question answered.
My impression hasn't changed. He is very sincere and a good proffessional.

My first Impression of Dr. Mora was WOW! I am 17 years old, and my grandmother and mother accompanied me to my initial consultation. Initially, I thought Dr. Mora would focus more on talking to my mother, but the fact is--He looked me in the eye, he was honest with me, and he made me feel very aware that the complications of surgery are very real. This woke me up. To this very day, I am freaked out by the idea of death. But, the way I look at it is that without this surgery, I won't live long, and the time I do live would be miserable. I like Dr. Mora, I trust him.
