Dr. Mary Mour is wonderful... I had a LIST of questions before I went in for my consult he answered more then half of them before I had asked . He spent 2 1/2 hours in my consultation he is set on OPEN RYN versus LAP RYN , but is learning. His honesty was most appreciated and he has many years of experience with open ryn over 1600 done. I would give him a 10 . One suggestion is updating his picture on the website .

Dr. Marymore was wonderful. He made me feel comfortable despite the complications that we faced. And he did a great job on both of my surgeries.

I was very nervous at my consultation but Dr Marymoor put me at ease in no time flat. He and his staff very very pleasant and attentive both before and after my surgery. Dr Marymoor was available to me for any questions and concerns 24 hrs a day. He gave me all of the facts and told me what I could expect after my surgery. If I had to use a number between 1 and 10 to rate Dr Marymoor, it would be 10. I have referred him to several of my friends and he has performed the WLS surgery on them. They feel the exact same way that I do. So if your looking for someone that in competent in what they do, and has a bedside side manner like no other, I encourage you to seek oyt Dr Marymoor.

When I first met Dr. Marymor, I wasn't too sure about him. He came off harsh... But in reality, it's because he truly cares about your well being, and wants to make sure this decision you're making is the right one. He only does open, and he has his reasons. And so did I... which is why I chose him. Even though he came off rough, his bedside manner is amazing. He's one of the most caring doctors I've ever met. He gives his patients his cell phone number, and tells them to call him no matter what. And every time I have, he's been available for me. I just sing that man's praises... he's given me my life back.

My first impression of Dr. Neil Marymor was he was a complete gentelmen. MY impression of DR. MARYMOR has not change. The staff is very well educated, with knowledge of how to take care of a patient. I DID NOT DISLKE ANYTHING CONCERNING DR. MARYMOR. DR. Marymor did not skip a beat about my after surgery recovery and he had a well structured after care follow up plan. Dr. Marymor did advice me of all and any possible problems that may acure doing and after surgery.I found DR. Marymor to be the best surgery doctor for me . My family was very happy with his knowledge of the surgery and his bedside manners were perfect. We were completey satisfied with the overall comunication with Dr. Marymor. In fact my girl friend was referred to Dr. MARYMOR and had surgery on 4/16/07. God bless Dr. Marymor and his vey dedicated staff.rn Thank You,

When I first met Dr. Marymor, I was impressed by his knowledge and willingness to explain everything, including all of the pros as well as the cons of gastric bypass. He explained that he does RNY open and if I wanted it done LAP, I would have to see Dr. Brader. He was candid and forthright, which is what I wanted for such a serious undertaking.rnrnWhat impressed me the most was when I was in the pre-op room, waiting for the surgery, he came out and explained, in great detail, the procedure for my mother and sister, including drawings. Then he made sure I was ready to go into the OR. rnrnA few months ago, I had stomach pain, and I called his cell phone. He had me come in for an X-ray. When I needed another test, he made arrangements for me to get it done immediately at St. Mary's because the staff who did it at Barix was not there that day. rnrnI trust him implicitly with my care, and recommend him highly.

Dr. Marymor is very serious about what he does, and very good looking--lol. When he talks he does not look at you very much but explains things so you can understand them. He is honest and candid. The office staff is great the nurses are probably the best I have ever come across. Some nurses have gone through the surgery already so it helps they give great advice. After care is a big part of your process and they focus alot on it, but give you some excellent ideas. The only thing I did not like were the admins. they are not timely if you need paperwork filled out and they are not the best with follow up phone calls. He takes risk just as a risk of anything else you may do or come across, but again he is honest. I would suggest Dr. Marymour at the Barix Clinic in Langhorne for the fact that he is excellent and caring, and the nursing staff is top notch. Stay on top of the admins. if you need paperwork filled out though. When you are in the hospital they are the best for pain management you push the button and the nurse is right there.

Dr. Marymor, was very informative and direct with the procedure, the disadvantages and advantages of having the surgery. He answered all of my questions and gave me even more information. Told me what to expect, what he does, and what I will need to do to be successful. He also gave me information on complications and how to avoid them.

I didn't care for his bedside manner at first, however, after speaking with him a few more times, I really like him.rnrnThe nurses and assistants post op were excellent. I never had to find them for anything. They were always there when I needed them. I had a very pleasant stay considering I just had major surgery.rnrnThey give you a 3 ring binder with a wealth of info. It outlines your post surgery diet for recovery, how to eat the rest of your life, loads of recipes, and plenty of other stuff. I recieved 2 phone calls within a week of returning home. One from a nurse to check on me and the other from a nutritionist to be sure I wasn't having any problems with my diet. Dr. Marymor give his patients his cell phone # if there are any questions or problems. Not an answering service.rnrnI think his surgical competence is phenomenal. I had no complications and after the first week, only minor pain. He seemed to warm up after I talked to him a few times.
