Dr.Cox was great, he was very easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything to me.His staff were all wonderful and caring. Hickory surgical has a very good aftercare program. I would rate him a 10 !

My first impression of Dr. Cox was that he was quite interested in why I wanted to have this surgery done and spoke to me and my husband at length about how the operation was done, the risks, the benefits and what was expected of me. The office staff there is truly incredable. Lisa their insurance cordinator is truly amazing and is right there to answer all your questions. There team approach to WLS and their program is a truly awesome experience. You know that you are not in this alone that you do have a major support team around you. I would highly recommend anyone that is even considering WLS to contact Hickory Surgical and learn about their program.

I was very impressed with Dr. Cox. He was very knowledgeable about this procedure and patiently answered all my questions. The entire office visit was very comfortable and relaxing. I feel completely at ease with my decision to have him as my surgeon.

Dr Cox is an extremely nice man.He is friendly,kind and most of all very intelligent and great at what he does.I can't say enough about him and his staff.Dr Cox came to see me in the hospital 5 times in 2 1/2 days.He took great care of me.The aftercare is wonderful.Becky,our nutritionist,is so nice and she goes out of her way to help.Absolutely they are number1 !!

My first impression of Dr. Cox was that he was very caring. He wanted to be sure that my father and I understood every aspect of the surgery. I was SO impressed with him. He is younger than I expected and very bright! I feel confident in his skills and abilities.

i really liked dr.cox the very first time we met him.i have only met him twice once at our orentation and once at our 1 on 1 meeting. Everyone in his office is very nice and friendly. futire patients should know he is very nice and easy to talk to he is also very thurough. he has explained the risks of my surgery very well. he put me at ease and let me know what the surgery entails and about the risks.i think both are important your doctor should be knowlagable but he should also have a good bedside manner.

Dr. Cox is such a wonderful and caring man. He has been there for me from the start and if I need him for anything he will do his best to help. The staff is the same way, his nurse Fran has been so good to me. Then all the staff in the WLS part is just great too. I highly recommend the program they offer. They will be there 24/7 for what ever you need. Their aftercare program is great too. In the beginning in the seminar they tell you all the risk and show you how the procedure is preformed and the tools used. I promise you this is not the so called easy way out. The first 3 months were the worst that I can remember in my life. Now it feels so good to wear things that I only dreamed of and the reaction of people that haven't seen you in awhile. Then just feeling good about yourself. I owe this new beginning to the entire staff of the WLS team at Frye.

Dr. Cox clearly went over the procedure and all the risks and complications well before surgery. My respect for Dr. Cox as a surgeon, physician, and person has grown. He is a very caring and capable professional. The staff at Hickory Surgical has always been very professional and nice.

Dr. Cox is an excellent surgeon. I would highly suggest him to any person interested in Gastric-Bypass surgery. Not only is he wonderful, but the staff at Hickory Surgical is amazing as well. They have an excellent weight loss surgery program that is exremely evident when looking at the post-op patients from their clinic.

Dr Cox was very informative and i felt has though he was very educated on how to perform the surgery. however i did recieve an infection in the deepest wound site i had and had to be reopened up and cleaned out. Overall i think he did a good job and he has a great since of humor.
