Dr Tarnoff was very direct and extremely helpful. The office has been soooo helpful. They are always pleasant and never make me feel like I have bothered them. A video of my procedure was shown to me and all risks were explained fully.

Dr. Tarnoff is professional and knows his stuff. I have not had any complications and was out of the hospital in 2 days. I am very thankful for his skill as a surgeon.

Dr Tarnoff contacted me by phone when my PCP told him in a meeting I was intrested in the program, he was very nice and gave me alot of information I needed. Tufts NEMC OCC program is an amazing department filled with Many doctors and such who are not only there to help us Physically and right then But mentally and forever. I had the surgery almost 2 years ago and still go 2 times a month for meetings and support

Very nice---quite professional. I saw him only very quickly in the hospital post-op. Two or three visits lasting no more than 30 seconds each. But I had no questions or complications, so no complaints.rnrnThe fact that I had NO post-op pain or problems leads me to believe he is a very competent surgeon and all research I did pre-op confirms that.rnrnI would highly recommend him.

When I first met Dr. Tarnoff, I was happy that he's a really comforting person. Unlike some of the appointments I've had, I didn't feel like I was in a deli line and was just the next customer.

Dr. Tarnoff was very professional and made the process very streamlined. He checked in with me several times at the hospital and I would highly recommend him to others.rnrnThere was not a big surgical focus on after care though, so you really have to proactively ask lots of questions to make sure you know what you are doing when you come home. The materials the support teams provided, gave a lot of details to help stimulate questions.

Dr. Tarnoff is an amazingly talented & thorough surgeon who made me feel very at ease. His approach is direct, but not intimidating. My entire experience at NEMC was top-notch - from the nursing staff to all of the OCC clinicians. I think every OCC doctor (whether I was their patient or not) from surgeons to psychologists to PAs to nutritionists to even med students/residents shadowing the other OCC doctors stopped by at some point to say hello & check in on me while I was at the hospital which I thought was really nice. Everyone, including Dr. Tarnoff, seemed to genuinely care about my progress. I felt secure in Dr. Tarnoff's care and especially at NEMC. I am so glad I chose NEMC for this procedure.

I met with my Surgeon for the first time last week.
My first impression of him was he seemed to be in a hurry.
He did ask me if I had questions, and if I was well informed of the procedure that I am interested in getting. I think maybe I was so nervous that I forgot all my questions as well.
I believe that Dr. Tarnoff is so thorough and experienced that all WLS patients should have thier procedures done with him. He is great.

I was very impressed with Dr. Tarnoff. I have heard only good things about him. He did go over the surgery risks. I know that he is an ecellent surgent.

Doctor Tarnoff is wonderful. He explains the procedure throughly. He also show you a video of an actual gastric by-pass operation.
The doctor and his staff are very helpful and always friendly. The Obesity Consult Center has a great before and after support system. A team of doctors to follow you thru the programs. Psychologist ,Physiologist ,
Nutritionist / Surgeon , follow-up consults w/ MD/PA , small behavioral groups and monthly meetings.
