Dr Hill was very kind and willing to listen to my troubles and questions.Answered all my questions and talked over all risk. Asured me there is no dumb or stupid questions to ask about the surgery. He is a HERO in my eyes. He help me understand the proceedure where I was even more comfortable. He is for his patients, not just for the money. His bed side manors are the best. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Hill. He hel make my life better and all I can say is THANK YOU DR. HILL!

My first impression of Dr. Hill, is well he was nice looking..but after that my thought was, wow he really knows his stuff. that made me feel really relaxed and glad I had chose him as a surgen. my impression over time just got better if that is possible.he really shows that he cares for his patients and that he really likes what he does. the aftercare has so far been fantastic, his staff and Dr. Hill are great. I would rate him on a scale 1-10 with 10 being the best. I would give him an 11, his surgical competence, and his bedside manner are both great.and the bonus he is nice on the eyes.

First impression - Very proffessional.
Only change was as I got to know him a little better he is as nice as he is Proffessional. I think the thing that did it for me is he seems very up to date on his proceedure and care both before and after. The program they have in place seems to be one of the best in the United States. How would I rate him. IF it is like the pain scale definetly a 10. You go in truly hoping his surgical skills are a 10 and it is a blessing if you can find one that can speak to you in a manner you can understand and he certainly has that quality too. NO I have nothing negative about my experience to say. Thank You...

Dr. Hill and the Bariatric Center at the Adirondack Medical Center are fantastic. Very caring and supportive. Covered all the information before surgery, and very willing to answer my crazy questions after!

The extent of your pre-op program often depends on your insurance coverage, but the staff works very hard to get you through and approved. Post-op care and monitoring are very important and are stressed by this office.

I would highly recommend this Center and Dr. Hill!

When I first met Dr. Hill I was amazed at how quickly he put me at ease and how personable he was. His smile is contagious. I found all the staff at his office to be pleasant and efficient. The entire team made me always feel competent in all of them. They were always available to answer any and all questions and quick to be helpful always with a smile. Dr.Hills impeccable surgical reputation coincides with his fabulous bedside manner. I thank him and his entire team for making this an amazing experiece and its really just beginning for me.

My first impression was that Dr. Hill was very friendly and down to earth, and I still feel the same two years later. :) He's approachable and listens to your concerns. He's very busy, and booked solid, so it can be hard to get in to see him, but he is very accommodating. I was back in the hospital twice after my surgery, and he was my primary care doctor both times and I was pleased with my care. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery.

My overall experience with Dr. Hill and the bariatric team has been great! I really feel comfortable with him. He never seems rushed, although the office is always full! and I feel like he listens to me and makes sure I am satisfied with my visit before I leave. I do feel that he has my best intrests at heart.rnrnMy only concern/suggestion I have for the office is that they are geared too much towards Gastric Bypass surgery. All of the handouts and informational postings in the exam rooms are all for bypass patients. As a Lap-Band patient I feel a little left out in the office. I have a feeling that this will change as Lap-Band gains popularity. He has only been performing the surgery for a couple of years.

Meeting Dr. Hill is like uncorking a bottle of champagne! He is outgoing and amiable, and has the ability to put you at ease at once. I was immediately comfortable with and confident in him. He drew pictures for me of what all he would be doing with my DS, and always made sure I understood everything. He let me ask all sorts of questions and answered them honestly and thoroughly. My regard for him has only grown deeper since I met him. He was available for me and my family before-hand on the day of my surgery, and was in immediate contact with my loved ones when the surgery was over. He was in to see me every day I was in the hospital and pretty much let me make the decision as to how long I would stay in the hospital. The nurses and the entire staff at the Bariatric office are wonderful, competent, and really care for each and every one of the patients that come through their program. Dr. Hill believes that his bariatric patients are patients for life, which is one of the reasons I chose him and the program at AMC. Overall I believe that while Dr. Hill may not (yet)be as famous as some of the big city doctors, he is equally as skilled and could keep company with the big guys without missing a step. I am SO glad I found him. He has an excellent bedside manner, wonderful personality and is a highly skilled surgeon.

Wonderful Surgeon! He performed my roux-n-y 11/5/09. He was informative and attentive to concerns and questions and yes handsome ;)but very down to earth, up beat and caring. His skill as a surgeon is unrivaled.

I have since gone back to Dr Hill and had a belt lipectomy to remove excess skin due to weight loss 1/24/12. I immediately liked his approach to the subject when I asked him about the procedure. He didn't sugar coat it and told me exactly what to expect and let me tell you 3 and 1/2 weeks into it...he was right. I love the results and can't wait to fully recover. I would not think twice to select him as my surgeon for any procedure I may need in the future.

His staff and the hospital staff are excellent as well.
