He was awesome and very patient with questions, i felt very at ease with him.His office staff were all very polite Bree was espescially patient with me, thank you from the bottom of my nervous heart bree;) The aftercare is between him and Dr. Doyle and the nutritionist Nannette all have been very patient and kind through the Beaumont Program, i would definately recommend them to anyone looking into this procedure they keep you very well informed, i did get kind of anxious trying to get a date for surgery, that seemed to take forever but i have one now and im just a worrier by nature so that was not a big surprise to me, I will update more on this as i go through the process but however to this point my boss has given me more grief than anyone at beaumont lol.
I attended a seminar held by William Beaumont Hospital and Dr Krause was the speaker. I was impressed with how genuine he was and had a very comfortable feeling how he spoke to the audience. I still have that feeling about him. He cares. And he's the best surgeon. William Beaumont hospital has a great aftercare through Club Briatrix. rnDr Krause's staff is great. Bree handled everything and calmed nerves too. She was a terrific person to work with.rnrnDr Krause is a 10 in my book! He is a well respected surgeon and his bedside manner was great.
My first impression of him was that he was arrogant and aloof. That impression has not changed over time. The office staff can be nice, but are very protective of him. What I like most about him is that I feel that he is a very competent surgeon. What I like least is the air about him that he is the boy-wonder of gastric bypass. I don't feel that the aftercare is enough and I have felt that I was treated as a cow being herded through some ritual. I guess I would recommend to someone preparing to go through this is that they have a support system in place that includes more than what is offered at Beaumont or Northpoint.
He is unbelivable. He is very nice, caring and dedicated. He actually called me multiple times in the hospital to see how I was doing when he wasn't on call. He has also called me at home since to check on me. rnHe looks very young so that is a little weird but is very professional.rnI would highly recommend him!
I was referred to Dr. Krause from a previous patient and saw the amazing results. I knew he was the surgeon for me the first time I was in his office. The staff was also very supportive. He also has a private support nurse who calls you all the time and hosts classes as she had the surgery as well and lost close to 300lbs. She was also wonderful. He took a very long time going over everything and was a very gentle surgeon.
Dr. Kevin Krause is wonderful. Great bedside manner, Always caring and tries to understand how your feeling. My first impression was he seemed very young. He is a very talented surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone considering this life changing operation. His Administrative Assistant Brie is also wonderful. The program that I am going through emphasis on after care. The Unisource program and Meditrainne diet and classes that are offered can be helpful also.rnrnI had many problems with the surgery. I developed leaks and had to have 3 surgeries to correct. This is a risk that is outlined in all the literature. You just think that it would never happen to you. I did not have any health issues. Sometimes things just happen and unfortuneatly it did with me. It took me over 5 month to start feeling like I did prior to surgery.rnrnI am having trouble with protein and I would suggest anyone to go to OH chat room it has many people in there to answer everyday questions that you don't want to bother a Doctor with such as diet and nutrition.rnrnDr Krause has his patients sign a paper that details all the risks associated with the WLS in front of him just before the operation. rnrnOn a scale of 1 - 10 I would give him a 10+. He has all of the atributes you would want in Surgeon his Surgical competence, bedside manner and caring attitude.
Dr. Kruase is a very compassionate man. He is very caring and treated me with respect at all times. He was good to my family and spoke to them right after my surgery. My impression of him has remained the same through out, but perhaps I have more respoect for him because he did such a good job with my surgery. I would give Dr. Kruase a 10 out of 10. His bed side manner is just plain nice.
