First impression was wonderful! a kind caring christian man, he walked me thru it step by step. Had to wait quite a while in his office, but the patients I visited with were sweet and all had great things to say about him. I don't have any complaints at all. He made sure to tell me I had to quit smoking, and he strongly suggested I give up my Mt. Dew now, cuz it may make me sick later...He encouraged support group attendance, and directed me here...what a wonderful guy! Overall, he gets an 'A' in my grade book so far.
I was very impressed when I met with Dr. Warnock. He is very caring about his patients and that came across during the consult. The office staff has been very friendly and helpful, so far. He says that once you have this surgery that you are his from now on. He is very up front about the risks but also does everything possible to prevent them. I would highly recommend him. The only negative would be that he is very busy and had an emergency surgery the day of my consult and was 2 hours late for my appt.
Dr Warnock is a very caring, sensitive, competent physician. I have nothing but good things to say of him and his staff. He explains the procedure very well along with all the risks that are involved. He also has you read an article that he wrote as well as contact several of his post op paitients. Monthly support group meetings are a must as well.
Dr. Warnock is a very caring Physician. He spent several hours talking with me and my parents about the surgery. He did a wonderful job on my dad's gall bladder and I can hardly wait to have surgery. I spoke with nurses at the Hospital and other patients of Dr. Warnock, everyone praised him as a physician and caring person.
I feel that anyone who chooses him will get great care.
I have been approved by Aetna and due to my work schedule will have surgery toward the last of August.
WOW... what can I say! Dr Warnock really is an ANGEL in Cowboy boots! I had sort of a unique situation and needed to have surgery rather quickly! WOW, Quickly was what I got! Debbie made sure it all happened. Since I was from out of town, I was able to get the Pulmonologist, and Dr, Warnock's appointment on the same day; May30. On June 1, I was in surgery and post op! WOO HOO....
What can I say about Dr, Warnock. He made me feel like I was his only patient. Since I was a revision, he showed me my Upper GI and where they had stapled from a previous surgery were no longer there and that is why everything went haywire.... He showed me exactly what he would have to do and how long it would take. HE was specific in what to expect afterwards and he was just so CALMING. Both my husbnad and I could not BELIEVE how CALMING he was. Because I was from out of town I stayed in the Rathgeber House across the street afterward. I would rate Dr. Warnock and his abilities a 15 on a scale od 1-10.
I really liked Dr. Warnock. The first impression he gave was one of caring and concern for his patients. He explained the procedure, risks, and options thoroughly and answered any questions along the way. He does stress aftercare and the fact that your success depends on how much you are willing to follow the eating guidelines. He fully explains all the risks of the procedure and stresses that you research and find out all you can before making your decision. He has many years of experience with Bariatric surgery, which makes me feel even more comfortable about his expertise. As far as pre-op consultations, I do have to see a Pulmonologist the day before my surgery, to make sure all is well.
6/11/2001 Just an update to say how wonderful Dr. Warnock and his staff are. As a post op I have been calling a lot with questions and some just not feeling well days. They are always kind and don't make me feel like I am bothering them. Dr. Warnock just really seems to care about his patients and that helps my recovery a lot.
I met and visited with Dr. Warnock and his staff last week and they were all the excellent things that I had heard they were. He was kind and compassionate and very thorough in his teaching about the RNY procedure, possible complications, outcomes etc. He didn't sugar coat anything but at the same time spoke with great confidence about how this procedure can change ones life. He spent a long time with me and even though he was interrupted several times while he was talking to me, he always came back and picked up right where he left off and never rushed through anything trying to get finished. I left his office after 5:30 and he still had one more consult. Debbie, was also great and worked out my surgery date just like I requested. The thing I think I loved most was that I never felt condemned as I have felt in some Dr.'s offices. It was a great experience.
When I first seen Doctor Warnock,I thought he was a very thought full man,he loves what he does and does it very well.
I loved the staff, they try to get you in and out as fast as possible.Very nice people.
Doctor Warnock emphasizes about the pain of over eatting,Ilove that he tells the truth about everything. And eat healthy is the key.
I put Doctor Warnock on a scale of one to ten.He is an eleven.
I will meet him at my first appointment on May 22, 2000 at 4 P.MI went to my appointment. I was very pleased with Dr. Warnock. He explained everything in a very non-complicated manner. My husband was also very impressed. I feel very secure in Dr. Warnock. The regular secretary was on vacation. The temp. was pleasant but I could tell she was not as informed as the regular secretary. I will call her on Monday.

It has been one year post-op and I think that this man is so wonderful. He recently did the RNY on my daughter Chrystal. I felt very peaceful about him taking care of her. He has given me a new life and hope for a better future. I will have the tummy tuck done on Monday June 04. I am a little nervous; however, I know that it will all be okay. Between God and Dr. Warnock, I am in great hands. Thank you Dr. Warnock for your knowledge and guidance.
