I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY DOCTOR....HIS STAFF IS GREAT! HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. THEY HAVE A GREAT AFTER CARE PROGRAM AND SUPPORT GROUPS ONCE A MONTH. SO GLAD I CHOOSE HIM!

I met with Dr. Karl Strom and Sylvia Fresco at a Bariatric Seminar on January 19, 2006. The session was great, I also got to meet the other physicians that work with him in the Bariatrics center. His seminar was very informative even down to every detail with regard to the surgery. Also, they had individuals that were there who had just had the surgery the prior week and were there telling us how great they felt and also individuals who were on medication that are now not taking the meds anymore or are taking lower dosages. On hand also was his office staff there prepared to take signups for consultations with the Dr. Overall everything was great. They work with you and work along with the insurance companies to get you the best. Everything takes place at one facility so you don't have to go all over the place to see the different doctors you may be required to see they are on staff at the hospital were the surgery will be taking place. Overall I would deffinately rate him and his office staff a (10).

He's a wonderful doctor. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I wish I had gone to him sooner.
He emphasizes alot on the aftercare. He addresses the risks straight forward. The bariatic program at Mountainside Hospital is great. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great.
