I can't begin to say enough great stuff about Dr Chebli!! From the first time I walked into his seminar and stayed to ask questions to my first post op appointment a few days ago my experiences with him have been nothing but positive and informative. I would recommend his to anyone thinking of doing WLS. Plus he uses an amazing hospital and is building their bariatric program himself so he's made sure they have the best equipment and training. His office staff are beyond friendly and helpful and don't mind if you bug the crap out of them with questions, in fact they encourage it!
Dr. Chebli is a very knowlegable Bariatric surgeon. What most impressed me was his concern about people being well informed about the choice they are considering in having any type of WLS performed. I have only seen Dr. Chebli twice, the first time at the seminar I attended, then at my consultation visit. My opinion of him did not change at that time. We discussed all options I was interested in and I left feeling comfortable with choosing him as my surgeon. I look forward to a long and healthy relationship with him and his staff.
I first met Dr. Chebli at his informational meeting about Bariatric Surgery at Northwest Hospital. I have been to other seminars, and have experienced both the \"pep rally\" and the \"please take a number...\" in contrast, this was very well done! I was immediately impressed with Dr. Chebli's knowledge and ease at describing WLS to the group. He was so eager to answer all questions and comfortable enough with the guests to place them at ease. When I left that evening, I made up my mind, that I would love to have him as a teacher and surgeon. His office is efficient and family oriented. Lisa, the office administrator, is so organized!! Everytime you call, it feels like she's been expecting to hear from you...very loving! You feel like your care truly matters to this group...something that healthcare is striving for, they truly display. After years of searching I found the perfect surgeon for me.
Dr. Chebli impressed me from the very first time I met him. I feel extremely comfortable with him. He is really thorough. As for his office staff, Lisa is awesome. I was calling just about every day and she always seemed like she was happy to hear from me. She worked so hard to help me get approved. I called Dr. Cheblis office when I broke my foot and couldnt get an appointment anywhere and they helped me find a doctor. His office treats you like you are family. Dr. Cheblis multi-disciplinary approach assures that you will be successfull! Thank You for everything I will recommend you to everyone I meet.
'Dr Chebli is very personable and helpful. I did not have my surgery with Dr. Chebli but began to see him after being diagnosed with anemia by my PCP. Dr. Chebli was quick to see me (two days) since I was ill and helped me do a complete turnaround and feel great again. rnNot only is Dr Chebli a great source of knowledge for his patients
Dr. Jospeh Chebli is an incredible doctor. He is extremely diligent and comprehensive in his pre-surgery work up. His professionalism and dedication to the field and his education made me feel confident in his ability. I have enjoyed coming to the office Lisa, and him make you feel like one of the family. The support group that is formed is one that is inclusive to all no matter what surgery and it is all about being positive and uplifting and helping one another with questions and how we can all obtain our goals!
Dr. Chebli is a wonderful, caring, well skilled surgeon. My surgery started lap and ended up open, much to his surprise. My 5 hour surgery was a success and I could not have been more pleased in my surgeon choices. My only regret is that he shortly afterwards moved to Seattle, WA to open his open practice. I will miss him but highly recommend him and his surgical skills. God Bless such a skilled man.
My first impression is the same as my current impression - Dr. Chebli is very professional, yet very friendly and compassionate. He doesn't talk down to you - nor does he talk "over your head".
I love his office staff, as well. Lisa is wonderful.
Very big emphasis on protein, supplements, fluids and exercise - he will harp on you if you're not follwoing his instructions!!!
He was very clear with me - he explained all the risks and possible complications. I felt 100% informed going into this procedure.
I think Dr. Chebli is the best and would give him a 10 out of 10!
My second meeting went really well, and I was able to get answers to a lot of my questions. He went through the procedure thoroughly, explaining what will happen, how long it will take, even little details like when my husband could visit. Also, I came prepared this time with a list of questions, which he answered clearly. I feel better about the whole process now.
At the first visit, I felt kind of rushed. I was a bit conflicted about the procedure. He scheduled me that day for a date 7 weeks away. I was kind of blindsided, but he rushed me out the door, and told me to start scheduling tests. I understand this isn't everyone's experience, and maybe it was less his manner than my own shock at the thought of having the surgery so soon, when I had mentally prepared myself for a 4-6 month wait.
I chose him because he does the procedure laproscopically, but nobody mentioned that he requires that patients lose 10% of their body weight before the surgery. So, I had 7 weeks to drop 20 lbs. If I could drop 20 lbs in a handfull of weeks, I wouldn't be talking to you, hello!!
The office staff was great, and helpful, my approval was done before I knew it, and they've been really supportive, letting me drop in to weigh myself.
Dr. Chebli is a very gifted surgeon and all around nice person. I feel very blessed to have had him as my surgeon. Unfortunately, Dr. Chebli moved to Seattle just over a month after my surgery. My post-op care is in the excellent hands of one of Dr. Chebli's former colleagues, Dr. Amir Moazzez. Please know that both Dr. Chebli and Dr. Moazzez are highly skilled surgeons and will take very good care of you.
