I loved him and Marc. My first impression was very good.They are thorough and caring and very supportive. rnI had a small problem with a certain office person but that could also be my way of taking them.rnTheir whole practice is very structured and efficient.It is information and support based in every phase of the process.From pre op to post op.The help and support does not end upon your release from the hospital. rnI have had many drs in my lifetime and wish all were like them.

My first impression of Dr. Caruana and his facility was fantastic. I had my initial consultation with him today and was very encouraged. MY IMPRESSION OF DR CARUANA HAS NOT CHANGED. HE IS A VERY CARING INDIVIDUAL WHO APPEARS TO TAKE EACH CASE TO HEART. HIS OFFICE IS EXTREMELY EFFICIENT AND AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS. HIS AFTERCARE PROGRAM APPEARS TO BE GREAT.

I was very pleased with Dr caruanna and his staff. Everbody was very freindly. the day of surgery I was a little nervous and Dr caruanna made me feel very confident that everything would be fine. I am glad I had him as my surgeon.

I thought that Dr.Caruana was great from the moment I met him.rnHis staff was also just as nice as he was.rnAt first I didn't think I would like him because I guess I didn't even want to give him a chance. I had a Dr. in Pennsylvainia and I thought there could be none bettter. My insurance company said they would not work with that Dr. and if I wanted them to work with me that I had to go with one of there Dr's. So I asked them who I could see. They said this is youre choice and named like 4 doctors, I chose Dr. Caruana for some reason and I am so happy I did. Awesome bed side manor.rnHe emphasized aftercare alot. He made sure I knew this was serious to start taking care of myself with vitamins and stuff now but later also. Exercise, rest, etc.rn

When I met with Dr. Caruana I was so nervous but he was very friendly and smiling. He seemed rush but continued to be pleasant. He actually weighed me which I was so embarassed but he didn't even blink at my weight and all he said was that I was a good condidate. I did express my concern about thrombosis and he was very honest and said so was he with all his patients. He did put my mind to ease by stating that I was a lower risk candidate for thrombosis, which made me feel a little bit better. He did state that aftercare was very important and that I did have to go to a meeting about nutrition and exercise which would take over 2 hours. I am actually looking forward to it. He also gave me some papers to read. I feel very confident in him and at more at ease about the surgery. I do think his staff could be a little more friendlier. They are not the friendlieast bunch of people but they are competent. The only negative thing I can say about Dr. Caruana is that I wish you could spend more time talking to him. I would give him so far a 9 out of 10.

He was very professional. Took the time to ask if I had questions and was willing to answer them. He spent time at the first post op visit going over nutrition requirements. Was very attentive while I was in the hospital. His office staff was very pleasent and knowlegable. The risks of surgery were well explained. He has a complete work out area with equipment that is free to the patients for 3 months. I was extremely pleased with the care I have recieved from Dr. Caruana and his staff and would highly recommend him.

I MET DR CARUANA SIX YEARS AGO. I HAD HEARD MANY WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT HIM. UPON MEETING HIM MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS HE DEFINITELY LIVED UP TO HIS REPUTATION. HE WAS VERY KIND AND YOU GOT THE SENSE THAT HE GENUINELY CARES ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING. THEWAY HIS OFFICE IS RUN IS EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. THE STAFF IS ALSO VERY CARING AND I SUSPECT THAT HOW HE TREATS HIS STAFF DIRECTLY RELATES TO HOW THEY TREAT HIS PATIENTS. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOING ON THIS JOURNEY WITH HIM. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT I AM IN VERY CAPABLE HANDS. IF I HAD ONE NEGATIVE THING TO SAY AND THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON HIM. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SPEND MORE TIME TALKING TO HIM.

Dr Caruana was very friendly and thorough. I spent sufficient time with my wife and I and answered any questions we had. His entire staff has been friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He has a complete program from presurgical information seminars, pre and post op support group meetings, an exercise center, dietician, psychologists and supplement sales. I would recommend this group to anyone considering WLS

My first impression of Dr.Caruana is that he's very professional ,bigtime advocate of aftercare I really trust him and from what I have read and the people I have talked to I have good reason to trust him he is a good man. Office staff also is very nice and efficiant you can tell they are very busy but still take the time to take care of you.There wasn't anything I didn't like about Dr. Caruana I've only met him once though. He really emphasized aftercare ,he also has a structured exercise program/facility. He did address the risks but I have been researching WLS for quite a while so there wasn't too much he needed to cover in that department. I would rate Dr.Caruana a 9 out of 10. I would give him a 10 but I'll let you know after the surgery. :o) I will definately give Dr.Caruana a 10 I would reccommend him to anyone who ask's without hesitation . I just love him.
