I attended an info seminar with Dr. Webber & staff today and was impressed. I have attended 3 other seminars in Detroit, and Dr. Webber's program appears to have the best aftercare program in town.

His staff is great. Zira is their office manager and she appears to be very educated in the field of bariatrics. Their dietician is Marty and she was motivational and honest.

Dr. Webber described the risks of the procedures he performs and did not sugar coat anything. His staff was well prepared and signed up most if not all of the attendees for one-on-one clinic visits with the Dr.

Having witnessed my wife go through this procedure at another hospital and with another surgeon, I feel comfortable with my choice of Dr. Webber.

Dr. Webber was, and continues to be, very personable and professional. He put my wife & I at ease during our first meeting with him. He spent a large amount of time after my surgery explaining all that he had done and why to to family and relatives, putting them much more at ease.

Dr. Webber's office staff, and all of the staff at Harper, are exceptional in their friendliness and patient care.

Dr. Webber and his team emphasize aftercare tremendously. They set up a structured aftercare system of follow-up visits and dietician conversations.

He addressed the risks of surgery in a straightforward manner, leaving nothing out.

I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Webber and his entire team. I highly recommend him and Harper Hospital to anyone considering bariatric surgery.

When I met Dr, Webber and his staff, it was at a seminar set up for we that were interested in the surgery. I was very impressed in the professionalism of the staff, yet they were not intimidating in any way. They made you feel just like they were a long time friend. The seminar was supposed to last 2 hours, but ended up lasting 3 because so many of us wanted to ask questions to the different speakers. They accomidated us will a smile. I learned more at that meeting than I had ever expected. I am very impressed with them and all the pre-care that they have shown. Most of all, when I have had to call them with issues and questions pre-op, they are either right there on the phone or they call back very quickly. I have only heard praises from those who have gone before me and still that is all I hear. They are great!! tim

My first impression of Dr. Webber was this is the guy, he is the one I want to do my surgery, He is very confident in himself, He is very friendly, he tells you how it. He is also very informative, and I would not want any one else to do my surgery, he is great!

I liked Dr. Webber at first sight. He was warm and seemed to truly care about what he does. He was willing to answer all questions and didn't appear to try to keep anything away from you. The staff were all warm and were eager to give any information requested.

At my initial meeting with Dr. Webber, I was impressed as he is very knowledgeable and appeared to have a sincere interest in what he does. During my individual consultation, he was personable and answered all of my questions. Dr. Webber performed my scope test and that went very well. Zida has been extremely helpful getting everything set up and keeping me informed along the way.

Dr. Webber........Initial counceltation was great Dr. Webber isn't trying to sell you anything. He truly wants to help you gain a better life. *He had talked about how an insurance company wouldn't cover the patients surgery, and that they didn't go after patient for costs...that proved to me that he's not in it for the money....
One year and a week later I am finally approved and ready to go~ I meet w/Dr.W today and some things have changed a lil bit~now they require a 2 week diet before hand to shrink your liver to make the lap procedure easier. You know it had been a year and Dr.W remembered me and even noticed my hair was a lil different~ It was nice to know I have a Surgeon that pays attention to details and has an excellent memory! :O)

I met with Dr. Webber 2/14/03. I had several questions, which he took the time and patience to answer fully. He was friendly, open, and easy to talk to. One thing that I really like about this surgeon is that he performs his surgeries with another surgeon, Dr. Carlin, both highly trained. They will both be there during surgery, which increases my confidence level that much more. They are both youngish and energetic and seem to really enjoy helping people and improving upon their knowledge and expertise. His staff was friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They have the right idea for patient support - they offer an intro seminar which was informative and gave us an opportunity to meet the surgeon, dietician, and program manager. They have a support group for pre and post ops which is excellent. Plus the on-staff dietician gets rave reviews in her support for post -op patients. I'm glad I made the decision to go to Dr. Webber and Dr. Carlin - now comes the trials of trying to get insurance approval!
