Dr. Jeremy Korman and his team were wonderful! I could not have asked for a better group of people to take care of me in this situation.rnrnHe answered all my questions and calmed my feers before surgery. I am almost all healed up and my scars... going away with each day that passes. rnrnThis guy really knows his stuff!
My first impression of Dr. Korman was my gosh he looks young and does he have to be a hottie. So I felt kind of uncomfortable. Then when he started talking to me and explaining everything that awkwardness went away. Then I just totally felt comfortable with him. The Staff at Dr. Kormans office is the best. Everyone is real friendly and helpful i've never experienced a great staff like this before. Dr. Korman and his staff guide you through literally every step of the way and it's not like okay your surgery is done goodbye not that easy we have an aftercare commitment. They did not get thier center for excellence for nothing. Support groups, Education and a team thats 100% there for you at all times.
I instantly liked Dr. Korman. He looks young and is adorable, but don't let his looks fool you -- he is extremely professional and is an excellent surgeon. I had no trouble talking candidly with him about my personal weight struggles, something that isn't always easy for me to do.rnrnIt's obvious that Dr. Korman cares deeply about his patients, from his kind bedside manner to the wonderful staff he has selected to work alongside him (and you, the patient). Dr. Korman took every medical precaution for me, and I appreciated how thorough he is about operating on patients.rnrnWhat's also wonderful about Dr. Korman is that he isn't there to just do the surgery, make his money and be done with it. It's obvious that surgery is only one part of your weight loss journey. His staff prepares and teaches you about everything that you'll be going through. They give you the information and support you need to do this right. This is a lifestyle change, not just a quick fix, and they want you to know that, and they will help you along the way.rnrnI'm so glad Dr. Korman is my doctor. I've heard so many horror stories from other WLS patients. Every time I hear a bad story, I realize that the reason I don't have one is because my doctor takes every precaution. His program isn't an \"operate and shove you out the door\" situation. It's an ongoing relationship, and my health is always being evaluated. Questions are always being asked to ensure that I'm getting my protein, water, and that my pouch is working for me. If I could go back and do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Dr. Korman is great, and I tell everyone who is interested in surgery to contact his office.
Wow.... I don't know if there are the right words to describe Dr. Korman. My first impression of him was that he was very straight forward, explained things so we could understand them. But he also seemed to have a kind spirit. Every time I met him I liked him more. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of having this surgery. His Nurse Bridgette is a total sweetheart. She is always attentive, caring, honest, and will always answer your questions. She is awesome. Dr. Korman, and his staff make a good team!!! **************************************rn<img border=\"0\" src=\"http://myspacespimp.com/userpics/glitter-words/glitterwords110.gif\" width=\"279\" height=\"117\">
I always thought that having surgery was a scary thing. Until I met and got to talk to Dr Jeremy Korman.
I must have taken a list of at least 35 questions into his office on my first visit. He was not surprised, he just sat there with me, answered each and everyone of them very honestly. We talked about the mechanics of the surgery, risks, the actual surgery day, post op, hospital stay, emotions, anything you can think of, he answered. I never felt rushed the entire time I was there. He really makes you feel like you matter. I felt even more confident each time I saw him. Dr Korman has a special gift and he was going to share it with me.
Dr Korman's staff is just the greatest. The continuity of care is incredible. From the first time you walk in the office to the support group meetings, pre-op, hospital, post op care......It's the whole package, I give Dr Korman and his staff 10 STARS!!!!!
My 1st impression of Dr. Korman literally was how old he was, cause he looks almost my age.
My impression changed after asking a few basic questions and his knowledge of the surgery and how beneficial it was to obese people.
His office staff at first I was a little shy but after getting to know them they are the best I have been around.
What i like about my surgeon is that he has a good sence of humor.
I would rate him overall with a 10!!! :)
At first, I was went to Dr. Korman because of Bill Handel. When I met with Dr. Korman he appeared to be very young. After that initial shock, I noticed Dr. Korman is very articulate in his discussion and very informative.
During my hopsital stay, Dr. Korman was there every day just to see how I was doing. He even talked to my husband when I was not there. He talked to my husband immediately after my surgery to give him an update. The people person as well as his credibility was important to me.
Dr. Korman informed me of all the risks of the surgery and I had several questions for him that he had no problem answering including the bad surgeries.
Overall, Dr. Korman and his staff were great and I look forward to aftercare that I will be receiving.
The only negative thing was I was the 4th (last case) for the day and that really gave me alot of anxiety. The staff was not willing to change unless I wanted to reschedule another day. I expressed this to Dr. Korman and he assured me it would be okay and it was.
