I've got my surgery this past week, the procedure was a gastric sleeve. I'm totally satisfied whit the results Dr Ramos Kelly Attentions where so great, next day of surgery i was like nothing happened ....no pain, no nauseas. Facilities where comfortables, clean, nurses are the best ones so much professionals.

12 years ago at my highest weight at 268lbs. I went on the lose about 60 lbs that following year and swore I’d never be that heavy again. Last May the inevitable happened due to poor habits and lifestyle; I had reached 268 again. Depressed, defeated and undisciplined, I was desperate for a change in my weight. I had been looking into bariatrics for about 6 months when I decided I was done playing with my health. That led me to @drramoskelly and his fantastic team and the rest is history. #forevergrateful

My name is Sarah and I am 25 years old. I had a gastric sleeve done one month ago. I've been overweight since I was a child and I was ready for a change. At first I was very hesitant at the idea of getting a weight loss surgery and it being out of the country. However, I have had six family members/friends who have gotten this surgery from Dr. Kelly Ramos and not one has had any regrets or complaints. Every single one of them says they would do it over again, as would I. My experience was great from start to finish. I always felt well attended to and very safe. I had the procedure done at the clinic and had a nice stay. The nurses were very attentive and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I had no pain throughout the entire process, even at home recovering. I did have some mild discomfort but nothing that required me to take pain medication once home. Dr. Kelly and his team are phenomenal, including the driver Jorge. You always have someone with you every step of the way. I had brought a friend along with me for help during the process but looking back I would have felt just fine going alone. Dr. Kelly and his team take care of you 100%. I am so happy that I made the decision to do this, I only wish I had done it sooner.

Being a 64-year old man, going through the physical changes of life, I found the concept of medical tourism/metabolic surgery abroad to be a very viable alternative to living with my old, wrinkled fat body. I had looked into the possibility of having a gastric by-pass here in the United States, but, simply could not afford it. So, I traveled to Tijuana to receive a mini by-pass for less than ½ of what would have cost me in the U.S. And, I got a vacation out of it too! My friends tell me I look 20 years younger. As I’m waiting for my 40-year old charming lady to find me, I’d like to thank you to Dr Ramos Kelly for all the hard work you put into helping me plan my medical process. I will recommend you for many years to come.

From the very first contact with Dr Ramos Kelly´s office, I have been extremely impressed with the caring and professionalism of my program coordinator. He guided me every step of the way, making sure that everything was as going smoothly, and following up after the surgery. I always felt well cared for, and even after surgery he checked in with me periodically to make sure that everything was going OK. Talk about service after the sale!

As for Dr. Kelly, he knows his stuff! I felt very confident in his abilities and a year post op, I’m liking what I see in the mirror! I have no regrets about having ‘my sleeve’ done. This is precisely the new look that I wanted and at an affordable price to boot! The clinic was fresh and clean, which is important to me, and his staff was great! Going to Tijuana was an illuminating and exciting adventure. If I knew then what I know now, I’d do it again! Medical tourism will be my future preference for any further cosmetic surgery that I might want. What an incredible organization and I just can’t say enough about this whole experience! Way to go, Dr Kelly !!!

While overseas, I was treated like a king. I was impressed. Compared to the US, I felt there was much more doctor-patient contact, and in the hospital, more nurses & staff per patient. I was visited by Dr Kelly at least once everyday to be sure everything was OK, and the Director of Nurses visited me every day to be sure the nursing staff was taking care of me properly. The nursing staff was very attentive, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I was not treated like a foreigner, on the contrary, they were glad to have me and be of service. From a business standpoint, I was a customer (a very good customer), and they treat their customers well, they are in the business of medical care, and they know how to provide good medical care.

I am a very busy person, and this travel made it possible for me to get away, have my gastric sleeve, and properly recover before I was forced to get back to the daily responsibilities that go with running your own businesses. Yes, there was a lot of work for me to do when I got home (and always will be), but with my health issues aside, and without the weight of huge medical bills, I feel stronger, and uninhibited, ready to face the world with all it’s challenges. When my girlfriend mentioned a few years ago that we no longer looked as good as we felt, that made me think. I had reviewed a metabolic surgery several years ago and the cost was too expensive to justify it. Then my girlfriend told me about Dr. Kelly. The cost was so reasonable that I could pay for both.

We flew together, shared a huge room at the Lucerna Hotel (great place), opted to split a room in the clinic during recovery so we could mend together and help each other. It was the most incredible experience of my life. A couple of years later we can say that we look as good as we feel, we have a new chance to being healthy and enjoy activities that we could´t before.

I didn’t know medical tourism existed and I am so glad my girlfriend introduced me to it. My program manager was the Best and the people in Tijuana were of the highest quality in customer service and satisfaction. God gave my doctor the surgical gift of being a true artist and he knows his craft. In the future, before I consider any surgery in the states, I will contact Dr Kelly and his team.

The results of my procedures are excellent. It is hard to believe that it has been 3 full years. The experience was actually better than I had anticipated. Dr Ramos Kelly support was spectacular. I especially appreciated the change to bulk head seats and wheel chair support for the return trip. It is probably something that should automatically be arranged for anyone that is having any major procedure. All the staff was great and helpful with my condition
