Dr. Ditslear was so kind, and caring, and patient with me. I reviewed information about doctors, types of surgeries, outcomes, complications post-operatively, etc... over 5 years before deciding to go through with having the procedure done. I had a classmate in nursing school who had the surgery done and she recommended Dr. Ditslear. I was so pleased she did. He did my surgery 9/29/2010 and everything went wonderfully! A friend I work with and her husband also had it done all within a month from one another and all of us went to Dr. Ditslear. Prior to surgery, he spoke with me one last time, and I knew I was in good hands by his gentle manner.

My first impression of Dr Ditslear was a good one. He took his time and talked to me about the different kinds of surgery and the risks. I was put on a liver shrinking diet during my 3 month pre-op weight management through Clarian. I must of done something right cause Dr Ditslear said my surgery was one of the easiest and smoothest he had ever done. It took less than 2 hours. His bedside manner was awesome. He is patient and kind and always takes time to answer my questions. I never have felt rushed through any of my pre or post op appointments with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My first impression of Dr. Ditslear was awesome. He was soft spoken. Answered all questions truthfully and very professional.
The staff was wonderful. Dr. Ditslear told me to have laproscopic surgery i needed to lose weight and reduce the size of my liver. He told me if I did that he could perform his job easier. That is all i needed to hear. I have had no issues since my rny and I am 12 weeks post-op. The pain was very tolerable and I am completely satisfied up to this point. Weight keeps coming off and I keep working. All I have to say is thank you Dr. Ditslear and the entire clarian staff. I owe my life to all of you God Bless.......

My first impression of Dr. Ditslear was that he was very kind and very caring. My impression never changed over time because he proved to be the kind and caring Dr. that he is. His office staff at Clarian is very nice also and willing to help out at any given time. There is nothing that I don't like about Dr. Ditslear, he is the most wonderful man. Dr. Ditslear will look you in the eye and will answer any question that you may have. He tells you numerous times what the risks are for the surgery but he also told me he thought that I would do fantastic. I rate him the best surgeon that I know as well as the most caring one too. Both are great, like I said there is nothing that Dr. Ditslear needs to change. He is fantastic and I trust him with my life!!
